How to Play Perfect Strangers by Deep Purple

today is a bit of a monster, its all about Perfect Strangers by Deep Purple. I've seen so many people play this and many get it right. Its a tricky little fella in places with the 4th and 5th swapping over but I have a stab at it and what stab there is you are fully welcome to my friend.
I also include some of the embellishments I have seen and heard live, the bits that you know but don't know why you know.
I hope you enjoy and remember if you are currently in the present you can catch me demonstrating all the Hammond and Leslie gear in current production at the Hammond UK event on the 4th May in Milton Keynes.

Thank you for the great tutorial and amazing video. I love your version of this song and like the fact you had mentioned and combined parts of live performances with original record. This song and specifically John’s parts made a huge impression on me at the time, which made me want to pursue music as a hobby at least. This video was very enjoyable to watch, so I definitely will be coming back to it again!
God I love this Hammond part from the great man. I especially loved how he (with Richie) inverted his power chords with the fifth on the bottom. It sounds so much gnarlier. The roar of that C3 totally made DP's sound.

Just noticed on the video, when I put the drawbars back the other week I managed to get the felt pushed back and you can see the screws on the top of the drawbar unit, must sort that next time I see you.
