Best haute couture show so far, hands down! This was a visual smorgasbord! Incorporating the tin can in the design, reimagining the pin cushion as an accessory, reimagining the black suit, Grace Jones looks version 2022, the black and brown pregnant women, that oh-so-fabulous fuschia gown with a structured train--all these make a sumptuous feast for the eyes!
The pregnant women dresses were fantastic, but they were not black and brown ( if you are referring to race ), one dress was true black ( the color is not a skin color ) and the other was caramel beige. ( a color ) and worn by a white model. I think its just neutral colors for all. The rest of the collection was just as great as you said.

@@cheong728 The color of the dresses were literally black and brown. It is not a description of any of the models' race. One of the models wore a black dress and the other wore a brown dress.
I have always Gaultier because he makes amazing couture garments out of anything!!!! Also, the house of Gaultier can tailor the hell out of a garment. IS HAUTE COUTURE IS ALL ABOUT. BRAVO!!!!
This show is a real art, a real masterpiece.
All these opinions and not one mention of how the models posed on the balcony for the public to see, that made it special ♥️
First time that it happened.
I never could afford any of those clothing nor am I a fashionista but I knew that was special..that was pure genius..now everyone gone copy the balcony thing..I never wore expensive clothing but when I seen that pregnant models I searched for him and then came here and seen the balcony thing..I am at an awww and gasped..your girl literally gagged...and the award goes to.....
I totally agree. Trying to make Haute Couture accessible to the masses. BRILLIANT!!!

Olivier Rousteing’s collection for John Paul Gaultier is an excellent tour de force of the fashion house! Some amazing reinterpretation and evolution of designs of the past! I didn’t see much innovation and there were flashes of Alaia and Thierry Mugler! The music was beautiful and sublime! I thought some of the shoes were a bit clumsy but had a touch of eureka with the fragrance bottle stilettos! It was so kind of the fashion house to display the show outside on video and the models pausing on the balcony! Such a kind gesture! Amazing! Just so heavenly! Well done! A near perfect perfect show!
Jean Paul never disappoints! I love everything!!!! He's one that I always look forward to seeing.

As much as I despise Olivier Rousteing as a person I must give him credit for this collab collection. It takes Gaultier in a totally new direction mixing the best of his past collections into new era for the house.

One of the best Gaultier shows post Gaultier designing it. Oliver did a great job incorporating Jean Paul's signature designs and iconography. Amazing craftmanship, creative, inspiring and yet in tune for todays generation. The show is also very inclusive. The audience outside is part of the show.
The sculptural/architectural aspect of it all was phenomenal
So glad to see how Rousting respects this amazing fashion house.

A few times I had to tell myself to stop rewinding because I know I'll be replaying this many times before the year is over and it's definitely going to be marked as a cultural landmark. (1) Very good the seamstresses were invited as audiences
(2) Olivier Rousteing handle this season of JPG better than any seasons of Balmain
(3) Repeating retrospective fashion shows not a sustainable direction
(4) Models show up on the balcony is a good idea
(5) If the 2 male staff stand by the balcony replaced by basketball players size male models, one black one white both in very sexy costumes will be more spectacular
