Thank you for sharing the event! Loved the low start with challengers fighting to catch lift. Especially loved the scene looking up at the group riding the one thermal up, it gave shape to the thermal, really awesome! Thank you for the video! 👏👏👏

This is the first time I have seen the low altitude high speed turns used, just after launch? Are they under power as the acceleration is significant? Also, what is the purpose?

Maximum power, build energy for after the launch (+10s) and disturbed the aer beneath - some boubble of hot air could form (for the critical first seconds of climbing)
