Dada Rawder, here to clarify something, speaking as an obgyn( Gynecologist)specialist...... There is a difference between the VAGINA AND THE VULVA. so she's right ,nothing that should be inserted inside the vagina because it's self cleaning unless medication. Secondly THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH WASHING THE VULVA( THE visible external parts of female genitals, not include the vagina).....with soap. That area sweats, ulipaka mafuta n you tell me water alone is enough to clean? No. You can use soap, a gentle soap can be used even Sunlight wale wa Sunlight. There is no way soap will enter the vagina...how, vagina walls are closed n collapse on each other. I have used soap since whenever. I gave never visited a colleague with infection etc. Soap is absolutely fine
Tena, akisema no-one looks at their vagina......NO WOMAN CAN SEE THEIR VAGINA. that's the work of the gynecologist using a speculum... ..you can see only your vulva. SALTY WATER IS AN ABSOLUTE NO. NO NO. and soft microfibre towel is absolutely fine.....WITH SOAP. Check yourself n usugue pale chini after a day.....water isn't enough. A safe oil to apply around your vulva to prevent from puparara..vit e oil, any odourless oil. She needs a clear understanding of the difference between vulva and vagina
