I have my fondest memories in the early 90s, great time to be a kid
Home Improvement was one of my favorite shows. I was nine when these aired! 😂❤️
I love that show too.
I miss Dave Thomas commercials. They use to always be funny and remember enjoying them with my fam.
Rip Dave Thomas. I miss the salad bar. I would have liked to have met him, never knew which Wendy's location he made his commercials. They were great.
10:39- that's rather bold of that kid to just spark a doob in his parent's house like that..
I remember watching Billy and I remember some of these commercials, television was so good in the 90's.
I don't know what would be scarier, big images of your hacking coughing self everywhere you go or being instantly transported into a parallel universe of Minecraft where everything is constructed of Halls cough tablets....
lol Man the anti-pot commercial... That boy would have had a great time at all of those events being high. Sounds like he's just lazy.
Yeah. C'mon kid, you can get high AT the concert.
Butter-what a waste of cookies
Halls Cough Drops-gotta love that early 90s CGI
20/20-what was Joan Lunden's husband thinking..
Partnership for a DFA-nothing could be further from the truth
Room For Two-Patricia Heaton before ABC brought her back for The Middle
Didn't think ABC had NASCAR back in the early 90s, thought they were just on ESPN, CBS and TBS
So by this point ABC was about to move Billy to Saturday. Could it have been more evident that (with aging sitcoms Who's the Boss and Growing Pains already moved there) ABC considered Saturday their graveyard shift for the 1991-92 season?
It was moved to Saturdays once the failed "I Love Saturday Night" programming block (mentioned in Vol. 188) was trashed.
00:36- sounds like Cybil had a close call ala buffalo bill/ Ed Gein
man EAGLES potato chips was THE. SHIT!!
Wendy's in the yellow package always tasted so much better
08:36- if he had only said 'you might run into me'
Those biscuits look like scones
I was about to wonder whether that Billy show was after Head of the Class and then a quick Wiki told me it was a spinoff. It also told me that Molly Ringwald movie was called "Fatal Love" in the UK. Very on the nose...
This was an odd period for ABC as it was still a year or two until their new big hits started.
The guy in the Halls ad looks like one of the main actors in Revenge of the Nerds.
04:15- never have I seen someone more in need of a barber.
Billy Connolly sooo underrated.
9:53 - Thank you, 80s Commercial Vault, for making me hate Look Who's Talking. Sure, it was never a great movie, but now that I've seen what it spawned in pop culture, I'm starting to wish the film was never made.
I actually think the original "Look Who's Talking" is great. Worth the resulting Talking Baby Mania. However, I won't defend the sequels.
Look Who's Talking came out the perfect time in my life. I had a baby brother back then. He was a baby. (born in 1988) I could relate to the talking baby.
I'm noticing lots of computer animation. I wonder when the switch over of this was and when it became a trend. you see the commercials with songs which was a leftover mid-80s trend. anyways, I'll be on the lookout for the start of the computer animation trend
08:40, i've seen the entire movie.
Is the real Alison still alive..?
TTrigg No, she died a few months after the movie aired.
"The Senate passes a bill cutting taxes for the middle class and raising them for the rich - President Bush promises a veto" Shocker!
OMG look at Stephen King!!!
RIP Bush.
My second birthday.
I checked out a Stephen King book at the library.
