unicorns are 100% a cryptid and sightings happen to this day. the one horn goats are bred by a gentleman named oberon zell, who was a major figure in like the late 90s, early 2000s neopagan community.

I’m surprised they didn’t have as many rainbow-colored unicorns or rainbow decorations on there, seeing as how rainbows and unicorns go together. I was also surprised that they didn’t have anything on the history of unicorns in literature and pop culture.

I remember the “Living Unicorn,” and yeah, it’s a breed of goat. But they didn’t graft the horn on, they trained the horns to grow together in a spiral as it grew up. Not nearly as cruel as budding them, which involves cutting the skull and they don’t really anaesthetize them. Anyway, a Pagan coven in Marin County, CA bred them. I had a friend who made a dragon costume and he did a photo session with Lancelot, the original Living Unicorn.
