Mortal Kombat 1 is a fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games. It will be the twelfth main installment in the Mortal Kombat series, serving as both a sequel to Mortal Kombat 11 (2019) and the series' second reboot, following Mortal Kombat (2011). The game is set to be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Windows and Xbox Series X/S on September 19, 2023.
Mortal Kombat 1 has been confirmed to feature a story mode, online multiplayer with rollback netcode, and offline gameplay. The game will introduce a feature called Kameo Fighters, which will provide assistance to the player during fights. These characters will be separate from the main roster, and chosen before each fight. Additionally, the Air Kombat combo system which was featured in both Mortal Kombat: Armageddon and the action spin-off Shaolin Monks returns, and is being refined for this game.
As of the game's announcement date, it has been revealed to feature reimagined versions of characters such as Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena and Kenshi. Shang Tsung will be offered as a pre-order bonus. Six additional characters and five kameo fighters are planned for post-launch release via the "Kombat Pack" downloadable content, which also includes a skin for Johnny Cage featuring the likeness of Jean-Claude Van Damme.
Kameo Fighters are a unique roster of partner characters to assist during matches, creating expanded gameplay possibilities for players. These characters are chosen separately from the main roster of fighters.
Some characters can serve as both kameo fighters and main roster fighters. Guest characters can even serve as kameo fighters.
Mortal Kombat 1 is scheduled to be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on September 14, 2023 for those who have ordered the game's Kollector's Edition and Premium Edition, while purchasers of the Standard Edition will be able to access the game on September 19, 2023 .

I actually really like how even when they are hostile towards Ermac (especially Sindel) he still isn't hostile towards them as he has no reason to be it shows he's not the same just pure evil ermac of the past.

As disappointed as I am Jerod doesn't stay in control I do like Ermac taking a neutral stance as he tries to get himself together as a collective it should make for interesting stories going forward.

By context, she is one of the souls within Ermac; specifically, she was an ancestor to Jerrod and/or Sindel, and apparently not the only such soul. This is one of the reasons Ermac will not abide by Mileena, “they” way outrank her.

To sum it up, Jerrod is one of the souls in Ermac. During the story, Jerrod does get control of Ermac, helping save Sindel's soul. In his ending though, the souls take over Ermac again.
But that's what I remember. I dunno if I have the correct things pinpoint.

Not really first he was a servant of Shao Kahn then when freed decided to be a good guy, then in the next timeline he was pretty much the servant of whoever was in charge, though one ending had him be good again as Jerrod took over the body
