@cr433c You have to carefully cut the old exhausts off without damaging the pipes inside of them. There is a wider bit of tube at the end of the down-pipe inside of the exhaust - get to it by dissecting the back-box at the cone shaped bit - where the “E” mark is. That wider bit inside fits nicely into the slash cuts (mine did - I only needed a bit of putty), and yes - then just clamp it on.
It will chew through your downpipes in about two year's time. And I mean THROUGH :) This video was taken the same day straight after the wrap went on, and my left downpipe cracked open this summer. It didn't fall off only cause it got suspended by the wrap.
Im trying to figur out why this bike looks alot better than the others.... its the handle bar! Makes the bike look million times better than the standard type
@Scootertuner1000 it sound like that purely because of the exhaust. Its a slashcut. I was looking into getting one of these bikes but it will have to have the slashcut exhaust
i have the same bike as this but in blue and i use the bull bars of front of the bike as leg rests and what side pipes did you use and what types are they to use
If You mean the inner tubes of the down pipes, then - no - they stayed in. But if it's about the catalyst (metal honeycomb located at the place where the downpipe ends and exhaust box starts) - I removed that one before fitting the straight through exhausts.
@TanriFen Try entering TORNARI-moto into the Google search - it should find their shop on ebay. Click on the "Exhaust" on the parts menu, and browse the list of items - the ones with red inside are the ones fitted on my bike (it's universal - I think it fits pipe in diameter from 38 to 45 mm or something like that)
You need to unscrew two bolts that hold the chrome surround to the tank (one is just under the fuel cap, and the other one above the fuel gauge - facing front). You take them out and the whole assembly lifts off. Inside You'll see few screws (don't remember how many exactly) - remove them and You'll get there. Then You cut a round peace of paper (with the size of a tax disc), put it over the gauge and mark out the hole for the fuel level indicator lights - You got a template for Your picture.
My girlfriend says - Honda. I agree. If talking about full size bikes, I would go with Yamaha, but XVS 125 does not look like it's bigger versions at all, when Honda VT keeps the proportions (it's only smaller). Never had any of those, so my judgement is based purely on looks.
@Scootertuner1000 sorry - didn't see the question on time lol . 60mph it would keep with no probs I would say ... it does 70, but it depends on conditions, although I managed to reach 80 on one ocasion (down the hill and with a help of a wind) - very very very stable machine - a bit more power and it wouldn't feel like a small bike at all.
top speed I believe to be 60-65, and if you are really small (like me) and the bike has been lightened up a bit (like mine it does 68-70 mph, but slightest climb or head on wind will reduce these numbers easily. The chinese quality speedometer on the bike shows a bit more than it actually is. The difference between what it shows and what it really is raises together with the speed. If it shows 45 - you're doing 40, and if it shows 75 - it's 65. One word - heavy - good for cruising, bad for speed
kokio jis didumo? maciau uz labai gera kaina 800sv as 190cm ar neatrodysiu biski..... pigus kazkodel pats ziuriu i yamaha dragstar 125cc kol issilaikysiu oilnas teises, kokiu nors problemu turejai? garsa labai geras kaip su 125cc :)
what im doing is (when i get one) is putting a 200cc engine in it and grinding off the markings yes its illigal but you have to check it and not meany people go up to a bike to check the markings haha xD but max this can be bourd out to is 180 i think
Don't really know, as chinese speedometers are crap. I believe it to be round 65 (when it shows 72). On a long stretch down the hill, along with the wind it showed 85 (felt like 75). Heavy, slow, but comfy bike, and very sable even at the mentioned "top" speeds.
Getting my jin lun in a few weeks, gotta be honest I know jack shit when it comes to stuff like these slashcuts, but they make the bike sound hell of a lot better, could someone inbox me and point me in the right direction to where I can buy them? Metrui 90 jis kiek mazhokas bus... ;) o shiaip jis bishki didesnis nei kiti 125kai. Garsas geras nes duslintuvai tokie, bet ir su originaliais jis visai maloniai dirbo - gan zhemo tembro. Pigus, nes kinietishkas nuo a iki z. Problemos - prastas chromas (rudija greit ) del to man atitruko daiktadezhes remo suvirinimo siule (todel chia daiktadezhes jau nuimtos), varzhtai megsta atsilaisvint - bet tai galima patobulint, sunkus, letas (i pakalne 70myliu),.Uzhtat rieda maloniai - stabilus.

@Scootertuner1000 it sound like that purely because of the exhaust. Its a slashcut.
I was looking into getting one of these bikes but it will have to have the slashcut exhaust
@Radiacius Cheers for that mate, it says the item is no longer available now though, seen you on the Jin Lun forums by the way :)

It does look the same, but the engine is definitely completely different.
