Tourism commercialize the place and turn beautiful little towns into dirty cities. I remember in the 70s when Negril was a quiet little fisherman town, now it is a city of Sodom. Mo Bay, the Murder capital and Ochie, only the rich can afford to enjoy. Building infrastructure to make money for progress is good, but remember that in order to put in infrastructure, you have to remove the natural beauty. Forests and woodland will get cut down, clean water will get polluted. The national weather pattern will change, the rain will come late and there will be longer dry periods, which will affects how crops grow. I really wish Portland would remain the way it is and keep the greedy investors out. It is the last piece of untouched paradise that Jamaica has left. I think we should preserve that parash.
