Just last week I had 5 elderly people get on my bus with all their belongings (I'm a bus driver). They'd been evicted from an extended stay shelter for the homeless to make room for migrants with children. That's not ok.

I've met refugees/asylum seekers from Myanmar, Ukraine and Russia who first thing they did once they received a work permit, as their asylum applications were still processing, was to get a job or some kind of paid employment so they could actually provide for themselves.
