I just love Ellie. I love her tone. And I love how quiet and pure her voice sounds. I don't see her voice as "weak" like a lot of you do. I like that she has a different sound. She's not trying to be a Celine Dion or a Whitney Huston by trying to hit very loud, high notes. Everyone now a days expects a Whitney Huston voice out of everyone. But not everyone has that vocal capacity. Ellie doesn't, but she makes it work. And all of her fans love her voice just the way it is ❤
Totally agree with you. We don't need more Mariah, Whitney, Christina or Celine. I thank the new and individual voices.

She is actually quite a good singer, see how she avoids the high pitched notes by giving the song a different melody, while other times she moves away from the mic to prevent sound distortion. Great technique.

I don't understand how people think she's a bad singer, she's hitting all the notes and she has her own style and tone which I think is beautiful and she's precise with her voice. She is far from flat and I think she sings this song beautifully here.

I love her voice since it is super unique! And in my opinion, she is a strong singer. Not everyone needs to sit there and belt out lyrics and just rage on a song because, that is not for everyone. You do not have to be a powerhouse to appeal to people.

Like she said in another video, she uses a lot of control with her voice. She was blessed with such a unique, beautiful voice and I love how she back up and did the background "ooh oh oh oh oh" falsetto notes ❤️

To some of the negative comments. You guys do realize that this is a live on a radio show, with super dry microphone that is made for dialogues, and simplified arrangement on piano, and with all the staff just sitting there staring at her.But still her pitches are on point, her emotion is sufficient and just the right amount, and that unique haunting tone. Imo, she's a truly talented and professional artist which we don't often see in today's music industry.

I dare most of the artist that have hit songs to sing it live like this and own it. Absolutely beautiful the way she is able to express the lyrics acoustically the way that it was recorded in the studio.
ℹ Ellie's voice is vicious and unique. That makes me petrified when I listen to her songs. Her moves makes me stunned when I watch one of her music videos. Anyway, she is a British singer, but she's so unique, thanks to Ellie herself.
