To summarise the video:
- before an exam eat well, don't do too much revision - focus more on reminding yourself of anything you keep forgetting.
- after an exam, relax for a couple hours - then continue revision. Try not to deep/focus on the exam you've just done too much.

Thank you so much Henry! The point about relaxing after an exam is so true. I wish they wouldn't force us to revise at school straight after the exam because I can't always go home 😭
that’s nasty! yeah it really helped me tbh i think it’s needed
I appreciate the effort youve put into this... got my gcse's in four days... not too stressed but i just need to learn how to manage my time effectively- something i noticed i really struggled with thoughout the mocks
thank you! i'm going to be doing a video on exam technique soon which may help, but the fact that you know that's a problem is really positive - because then you can be more careful during exams
we're in the same boat my guy, im jus like u not too stressed but ik towards the exam im gonna shit myself

i'm so glad they've helped - thanks so much for your support :)
Thank you so much for these videos you are really assuring me that my GCSEs will be ok this year 😀
no worries :)
i would relax after the day of an exam, but on one day in the timetable i have two double exam days in a row, so i feel i can't really spend time relaxing in that period. appreciate all that ur doing :)
yeah that's very fair. just try to relax for like at least 30 mins after the final exam of the day tho
thanks so much henry :) your helping me so much
no worries, glad i can help!
Get Henry to 5K guys !!!!

had my literature igcse today 💀 wish i got recommended this guide yesterday. good luck to everyone else with all your exams!! (and yes the exam went fine if you are wondering, was just kind of stressful because i was in a time crunch)
what questuons did u get??
@Calligraphyquotes. something about erics relationship with his family(🥹) or clash in views for aic, nobody else does the prose i do but i remember reading something bout duncan in there
glad it went fine, make sure to learn from the early lessons as best as you can
@Calligraphyquotes. Something about Eric’s relationships with parents in AIC and clash in views for the other question, and i don’t think anyone does the prose text I do but i also remember reading something about duncan lol

My re teacher just left a week before the exam and my new teacher (who is actually a French teacher) has no idea what she’s doing as she didn’t even know the themes paper was about 2 religion. How would you recommend revising for it in the last week as my teachers not going to help and this has now made me really worried?!
I got my GCSEs soon and I’m scared I haven’t been revising that much and I still gotta lot of content to get through but I don’t wanna burn myself out revising excessively
stop making excuses and get to revision

good luck to all y11s! I'm in year 10 rn and have my end of years coming up and this has realy helped too (am i deeping year 10 exams guys?)
Thank you that means alot 😊. No of course not its good your trying your best for your year 10 exams as it will help you to see what methods work for you and what dont. Just remember not to push your self too hard and to take care of your self. Also if you don't do well always remember that you still have time to improve.
personally i did literally 0 revision in year ten, so you’re fine! good to see that you’re thinking about this early though

What would you recommend for days with 2 exams? On Friday i have biology and sociology- because of when biology ends i feel like i need to go straight into sociology revision to go through enough in time because its a big paper. Whats the minimum rest in-between that you think is best for a situation like that?
good question, i had that too.
i would say 20 minutes to half an hour. grab some food or something like that
Edexcel Biology was BLESSED
Wish I could say the same about german, listening and reading was dead (I MIGHT be cooked)
biggest enemy english lit is on monday so hopefully the questions are good
good luck for english, lmk how it goes!
Hi, the day before exams I plan to binge watch entire CZcams playlists (like free science lessons) followed by completing a past paper and watching a CZcams walkthrough of it. Would you consider this effective for last day cramming?
hiya, that sounds quite effective. how long does binging the free science lessons/ youtube for a paper take you?
@@HenryBrandRevision A good few hours which is quite time consuming tbh but it’s just to iron out any misconceptions and pick up any last minute details I may have missed, also a confidence boost if I think I know everything that is discussed.
got my physics paper 1 and English language paper tomorrow. Hope it goes well
good luck 🙏
I got 2 predicted papers plus the last 4 years of past papers if I know the marking scheme of all of this will I be ready by the way it’s biology
yep that sounds good, but be careful bc some questions may come up that haven’t been asked yet and are not on any mark schemes
Do you have any advice for persuasive writing for english? Xx
so like in paper 2 the final 40 mark question?
Hi bro
Tomorrow is my first GCSE exam (health and social care). Actually, im new to this country and everything which I'm studying is totally different from what I've studied before. My parents told me to choose health and sc and I'm feeling so stressed about all the exam. I dont need very high grades or something like that. I Just need a pass for all subjects coz I would like to choose btec level3 sports course next year.
So what do you think ...can I score good grades if I try or not....I'm stressed 🙂and nowdays your channel is giving me a good amount of motivation
hey i do health and social care too i recommend emotional questions to always mention self esteem/value/concept as it is easy to score marks and i got 59/60 doing that in my mocks
@@Hassan-xu8rn thank you so much🙃so which are the qns we have to avoid the term social isolation
@@FootballForever07-zx1ti i think if it mentions social effects or negative social then mention social isolation howevre if none of the two dont mention it at all as can lose marks.I recommend highlighting the actual focus (PIES) before answering as you can stop getting 0 marks as unrelated
@@Hassan-xu8rnI got a pass in my coursework I think and I want to do better in the exam for health and social care in the future I wanna do something health related do you think that I won’t get accepted to a good uni because of that ?
@@Hassan-xu8rn thank you so much for the help...its really useful information 🙂💥

hiya, sounds brilliant - well done.
I would make sure to keep reading it for one. You could also try and plan it a couple times from scratch and then check to see how accurate it is.
Equally, listening to it every day is good - although things like paragraphs and visual structure is important too
@@HenryBrandRevision ye, thanks for the advice
Wow I am fresh
very fresh
I’ve got a few more vids of cognito left and then I do last papers and things I get wrong I go back and watch?
yep, sounds good
How would you recommend structuring your answers for history for top marks
take a look at the channel: a long long time ago
that had some good exam advice that I would use
I've been doing practise questions a lot recently and I've noticed that I know what the answer is in my brain with the logic of the processes but I can't find the proper way to word the answer. Its frustrating since I know I can miss easy marks because of this. Any tips?
This may not be the most useful, but break down each step! Even write down what you’re thinking (as if it was plan) to fully be able to explain your answer and what you mean. But it really depends on the subject, is there a specific one which you struggle with this more?
@soph8396 Mainly subjects where I can't freestyle but use key words so Biology, Chemistry, Physics(I do triple science) and Computer Science
what i found was the more questions i did the more i got used to exam wording :)
what if we don’t get study leave and have to do normal lessons after the exam how am I supposed to relax after😭
that's pretty rough! maybe your teachers will let you chill for a bit
So I took a few of my papers and forget about 8’s or 9’s I feel like I might not even get a six 😭

I'm in Year 10 and I've got my Bio mock on the 16-17th of May, Chem mock 21-22nd May, and physics mock 23-24th May, should I follow this routine?
i would, just to get an insight into what your actual exams will be like - but you've still got loads of time. don't stress yourself out because it could do more harm than good
yes! try it out see what happens, there is always time to improve techniques and routines - especially in year 10.
it’s worth following for practice, don’t over stress yourself yeah
what college do you go to?
i don’t think i can say as i’m still at the college 😭
