This is a case where it's definitively better to read the comments after watching the video.
I mean, this has been done in casual too. However, I don't usually see red extra turn spells outside of Obeka and diehard izzet decks in my scene

Death by Silence was so brutal, I loved it!
It didn't get there in the end, but seeing Vines of Vastwood always makes me happy. It seems like such a strange card to put in a cedh deck, but it can do so much work
Thing is, because of the way it's worded, it can shut off your opponents auras and other things like that, so it can pull double duty
That silence is exactly why I’m terrified to play cards like final fortune
It's every FF player's nightmare.
I played in a league last year irl where some of the legacy and vintage players were ahead of the curve in deck building.
They were maxing out on suicide turns in decks like najeela and stuff like that would happen a lot. I'm not a fan of running the 3 to 4 of them in most decks. Maybe just 1 or 2 is fine.
I'd love to see hands sizes in the UI. It's hard to tell how decks like Abdel Adrian that don't usually have a strong board state are doing
We did that in the past, but it added so much overhead to the videos it wasn't worth the payoff. Keeping track of people's hand sizes is crazy time consuming.
Is it feasible that the players have a die and at the end of each turn, turn it so that the number reflects their cards? I do it myself sometimes that i just put cards on the table with a die on it, so nobdy needs to ask, of course in paper.

Abdel adrian is so strong, i built him mono white just to play casual and he still stomps hard, its such a hard deck to deal with since the commander is an infinite piece and gives board wipe protection and so much value
So many thoughts here, but I’ll talk about 2:
1. I was really hoping for a super sexy over the top win from Ashani’s Emergence Zone. Definitely unexpected and really had a legitimate chance.
2. As much of a problem Dockside can be because of how it warps the game around itself, Collector Ouphe warps the game around itself too. I think this dichotomy is one of the reasons that Dockside really shouldn’t be banned.
I’ve never heard of echo friendly ink. Does sound not reverberate off of these tshirts?

Maybe I am missing something--couldn’t the korvold player have paid like 25 life into necro after flashinng it in, then continued to do things in the end step once the “put cards in your hand” trigger resolved?

Man… the game ending with Thoracle is so disappointing.
I hate how good that card is and how common of a win-con it is in Blue. It always feels so anti-climactic when it wins, unless it resolves after some huge stack war or something similar.
May I suggest replacing Thassa's Oracle with a similar win condition in your decks for some episode? Mostly to prove to people that Oracle being the final combo piece doesn't make the difference.
Many people complain every single time someone wins off Thassa's Oracle's effect. I personally don't like the random "out of nowhere" Oracle+Demonic Consultation combos myself - it feels too cheap. But most Oracle wins aren't that, and this is a great example. Would that game have been any different without Oracle? No. He could've used Laboratory Maniac to win there. Or Jace. Or simply mill out his opponents for the win, assuming they didn't have a shuffle titan in their decks. Thassa's Oracle was at no point in that game a key piece: it could've been substituted for many other equivalent "win the game" effects.
So I'd suggest trying it, just to show people how those games would be exactly the same without Thassa's Oracle in the game. I wouldn't shed a tear for the card if it was banned, but the constant "oh, ahother Oracle win" cries are boring, because Oracle is not really the win condition in most of those games.
Everyone blames oracle, the true problem is demonic consultation. This is just my $00.02.
@@54SCV8 I disagree - there are many, many ways to mill your library at instant speed. The issue with Thassa's Oracle is that it ultimately says "if you have no library, you win" - no other conditions. Similar effects (Lab Maniac, Jace...) require an extra step.
@@therealax6 It is not the point of milling yourself, itis the efficiency at which Demonic Consultation does it. Please name a card that does it as efficiently as Demonic Consultation.
Too counter this my play group has modified Demonic Consultation, to be must find named card or lose the game, this forces you to setup the winning condition.

@@andrewmarek1478 Of course, and if everyone is playing Oracle, so should you. If you decide to "ban" Oracle for the day, though, you're just playing with a different banlist - the key difference being that the change affects all players.
