Hello Nobby On Cars, thank you for sharing your review. 💚
Thank you!
The blue looks savage in person. Have to say the Enyaq is much nicer than the ID.4, I prefer the blockier Kodiaq shape over the rounder ID. Nice interior, savage seats.
Great video only thing missing was a small clip with the grill light up at night 😊
I have had our IV 80x just a month now, been in France twice (once towing a trailer) and Spain once. Ordered the car without adaptive cruise control & matrix headlights (had those on previous car) I also got the Enyaq on 19" wheels. Getting about the same economy as you, our longest journey so far was 800+ km in one day in France. Wonderful car, our 5th BEV.
Looks better than the coupe version and a X6.
It's a v smart car, a lot better than other VAG, and that light bar thing is v smart. But I'd imagine if there was an accident (hopefully not) it will cost a fortune to repair/ fit a new one
I'm getting the Sportline this week....first EV and looking forward to it even more now. Thanks for the review.
Enjoy!
Mark. Yes one of the ( subjective) better designed and therefore looking EVs. Better than " sister ship" iD4... No excuse! Still the size of a ship and as heavy as! And that is just one of the issues... Price !!
ID Business and GTX look a lot better. Nothing new here from Skoda.
We picked up our Enyaq sportline two months ago, went with the iv60 version and have been averaging about 16kWh/100km, so easily getting about 350km out of a full charge, granted this will drop dramatically in the winter months. This is our first venture into an EV and really happy with it so far.
Winter is actally okay. Not as much of a dip as you'd expect. I do a lot of motorway driving.
Mark that is a lovely car, and £16 to fully charge sounds a bargain. However when the car is £21,000 more than a (Karoq Sportline 1.5 TSi) even at Today's fuel prices that is 113,000 miles of petrol, who keeps a car that long? Also that would be the break even point. EV's are artificially too expensive. Those kids mining in DRC earn $0.75 a day.
Most people will buy on a PCP with a premium of maybe €100 per month over a similarly sized ICE EV. This was you are not paying as much as you think and VAG cars hold their value quite well come trade in. You do save money. Our electricity bill for the car is €17 per week. it was €80 in the old ICE to fill for the week. Rough estimates
the karoq is smaller and has less CV compared to the enyaq 80. you should compare it to the enyaq 60
You are comparing Enyad for Karoq and Karoq is smaller car you should compare it to Kodiaq which is more same size.
How about other expenses in fossil car are they similar. In EV you don't need oil change, does you have to pay higher tax for using fossil fuel etc
Nice! ‘Cept for the crystal chompers 🦷 😱
Something interesting coming up for Enyaq ??? They're gonna put proper buttons and knobs in them ??!!! Grand little review there, Nobby. That Fern Hill place is lovely - great for the dogs, and a bit of charging while you're wandering with Fido.
Except two Leafs plugged in when I was there off peak blocking !! 🤣
@@NobbyOnCars 😆 Cheek of them ! As bad as the PHEV Hoggers !!
I have an 80x SportLine in Velvet Red. It's an absolutely brilliant car.
Got the IV60 version of this just over a year ago. Same colour but with 20 inch wheels and without the crystal face (not a huge fan of it to be honest!). Have clocked 25,000kms so far without any problems.
We had a hybrid octavia on order. Originally told August/September, now told no idea when it will be in, possibly some time in 2023. We enquired about the Enyaq and were told they were getting one in and that was it for the rest of the year. I think Skoda are having serious problems with the electric side of the house. On the configurator you can't configure an Enyaq and the Octavia no longer has the hybrid engine as an option.
Massive delays on cars alright. They seem to be one of the hardest hit.
love it, but would skip the crystal front thing
Way back, I went dancing with a woman wearing braces. Under UV, looked just like that Enyaq :?
🤣
Just to give an idea on the delivery time - ordered ours via fleet in November 2021. Expecting to receive it mid-February 2023 (last heard it was at Emden awaiting a ship to the UK two weeks ago)
Christ that’s a long wait
World need to evolve or few countries because that must be more expensive for car manufacturer to make car that has steering wheel left or right instead just one side.
...and like all EVs you can't order one at the moment. Nothing available. Still waiting for a Q4 slot.
any Skoda model with the Sportline trim >>>> every other model
Is it worth going for the 80 over the 60?
It really depends on your own needs.
Not seen a crystal face in real life yet, glad I spent my gadget budget on the HUD instead though 😏
At least you’re looking at that most of the time!
@@NobbyOnCars that was my thinking. A friend bought the founders edition but he lives in England so I've not seen it in real life yet. He walked in, ordered it as they had it arriving in 3 weeks and 3 weeks later it was on his driveway 👏😏
Good going by todays standards!
@@NobbyOnCars unheard of. I've asked him for the lotto numbers this week 🤣
I have seen and it and it's much better look than standard grill. Standard grill IRL looks too cheap compared to rest of car.
Crystal Face, polished white teeth. So bleedin’ cheesy. I’d pass on Sport Line spec and afford that tooth brush.
🤣
I just laugh every time someone sticks any kind of "sport" badge on one of these huge heavy EV's. Sporty it is not. And all the fake grills and vents and teeth to distract from its bulk..... like sticking a tracksuit on a rhino. I'm not fooled
Rhinos can run a 55kph. Faster than most people out for a run in their Spandex.
Kia...6 months
Bmw....9 months.....9....thats nine
25 polstars in their garage hq...all sold
Evs harder to get than the truth from Mary Lou
I'm in Sweden and Kia is 10-11 months wait, ID4 is 6 months and just had a 2% price increase. Just managed to order an ID5 GTX for October delivery. Second hand EV prices have gone crazy here. My ID4 First edition has 35k kms on the clock, I got €2,500 more than what I paid for it on the trade in. Factor in the €7,000 government grant here and I am €9,500 ahead on the deal. Cost to change to the GTX was €4,200. Once in a lifetime deal not to be missed!
That's quite a stroke of luck alright!
@@gordonf1997 Kia telling me that the grant on a second hand car not allowed here so a Demo car is more , than a brand new one. Madness.
@@Badonicus It's a perfect storm at the moment, supply chain problems restricting supply and petrol and diesel prices driving higher demand. It's going to months if not a year or two for the situation to sort itself out, I'm just very fortunate to be able to capitalise on the situation, somebody is going to pay 10% over new price for my ID4 with 45,000 kms on the clock. Probably will end up as a company car so I won't cry for them. 😀
Same awful vw infotainment and climate controls, more than enough to put me off. I'd still go ev6 or ioniq 5. It look very dark and drap inside
Skoda Enyaq is a gorgeous car. But I refuse to buy anything that doesn't have comparable software experience to Android Automotive or Tesla's system.
