- 4 cups all purpose flour
4 cups corn flour ( white or yellow)
2 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 sticks butter
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
½ cu sugar topping
½ tsp cinnamon topping
In a mixer add butter and sugar to mi until creamy. Add eggs one at a time and beat until pale yellow. In a small bowl, add flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Blend well with a whisk. Add flour to egg mixture, add some milk or cream if needed. Let mixture rest for about 30 minutes for flavors to blend. In a piping bag, place star tip and drop a 4 inch stick like dough onto the cookie sheet. The cookie sheet is covered with parchment paper. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the dough. Bake it at 375 until golden.

Em uma batedeira adicione a manteiga e o açúcar até ficar cremoso. Adicione os ovos um de cada vez e bata até ficar amarelo claro. Em uma tigela pequena, adicione a farinha, o fermento, o bicarbonato, a canela e o sal. Misture bem com um batedor. Adicione a farinha à mistura de ovos, acrescente um pouco de leite ou creme, se necessário. Deixe a mistura descansar por cerca de 30 minutos para que os sabores se misturem. Em um saco de confeitar, coloque a ponta de estrela e coloque um palito de 10 cm como a massa na assadeira. A assadeira está coberta com papel manteiga. Polvilhe açúcar e canela sobre a massa. Asse a 375 até dourar.

Angela, they look delicious. I have a recipe but have not made them because I didnt have the right tool for it. My sister in law makes it all the time with a carrilhos /cookie maker. I have the meat grinder but not the cookie attachment. You just gave me the greatest way to make them. I never thought to make them with a pastry bag...this I do have. Also, I love your tip of sprinkling them with cinnamon sugar. Thank you for your recipes and recommendations. 😊

This whole time I thought these were made with just all purpose flour I never knew about this corn flour I put lemon and cinnamon in mine but never knew about the corn flower lol 😂
