ARGO CENTAUR XT / MAVERICK X3/ DEFENDER HD10 and Crew on recovery mission .

- Went on a recovery mission for an 8 wheel argo that had to be left behind in the winter due to breakdowns and harsh weather and injury so a recovery team was put together to try and recover the vehicle .

RECOVERY UNIT:
ARGO AURORA 850 SX 8X8 the owner of the argo Kirk went out on an adventure to get to his camp in March 2023 but their was too much snow making it extremely difficult to navigate without sliding everywhere off hills that he gotten stuck multiple times and breaking chain drive parts and breaking his winch and rope trying to make it to camp but got an injury to his hand(broken bones) so he had to abandon his mission and get search and rescue to extract him from the wilderness using his inReach communication device before the huge snow storm hit .

Cool way to travel dirt roads and mud bogs but its more of a yuppie thing then a real off roader. Suspension has what like 2 inches of travel?
SUSPENSION ADJUSTABLE PNEUMATIC CIRCULATING TIRES lol The best smooth ride ever, i would have never thought it was until i sat in it for few hrs and said its smoother ride than and truck out there in the bush rds . You have to pick your way up steep hills or just run the lake,river,swamp lol no rd no problem and its not a rock crawler but it will climb .

I got most of it but few are missing some footage but still good just putting something together with what i have and hopefully have something decent to watch .
What was he doing back soon far in the winter without a snowmobile?
Thought he was prepared enough to go out on this adventure but found out he needs to do more prep for this kind of adventure and have more parts and better backup plan but i am sure the next time he will have all the gear hopefully .
He was a long way back . Did he walk out with 53 cm of show I hope he had 😅

That's what I need, could of helped me this spring. Was crossing a washout on an old timber & rock bridge checking trails to lakes to see how bad they were to my favorite lakes after the Covid shut down
I find it funny how sherp owners thought they were better than Argo vehicles. Haha
Actually i had the chance to ride in the Argo Centaur xt multiple times in different conditions and i can say the ride and clearance and moving thru water hands down a beast of a machine . Every machine has their place but this one is wicked and versatile . Thanks for watching.
