solar energy is the best source of sustainable energy. we can generate a large amount of electricity with the help of solar panels. however, it had its own flaws we would be able to generate electricity in all climatic conditions and during the night. which is a major flaw of solar energy sources. to fix this a Team from the California Institute of Technology. is trying hard to harvest solar energy and then transmit it to Earth. and finally saw the success of the project. it's called Space Solar Power Project (SSPP). the co-director Dr. Ali Hajimiri revealed it in TEDx TALK. this mainly works with a satellite that is able to generate solar energy from the sun and then beam it to the Earth. there are several advantages to doing this for example we can generate electricity during night and any kind of climate change and many more. to find out more watch this video about the Discovery of Space to earth Energy Transmission.
