HEVC file is transcoded to VP9, DTS 5.1 audio stream is downmixed to AAC 2.0 you have to use ffmpeg and add AAC 5.1 to file manually before uploading to youtube
Update 04/18/2024: CZcams is converting DTS 5.1 or AAC 5.1 to DDP 5.1 (Dolby Digital Plus)
And then the CZcams compression just destroys all the hard work. :(

Dolby Pro Logic II (audio matrixing technology) is supported on PC and TV it's encoding 5.1 surround into 2.0 by manipulating phase and gain of signals
AAC 5.1 (actual discrete 5.1) is supported only on TVs that are connected to AVR with HDMI eARC
DTS 5.1 and/or Dolby 5.1 is not supported because it needs licensing

CZcams does not support 5.1. It's stereo only. If you experience surround sound, that's because your TV/receiver is "faking" a surround sound signal, by automatically stretching stereo to all speakers. This video is fake.
Teeeeeechnically CZcams does support true surround sound if your video is encoded in Dolby ProLogic and your receiver supports that. Most home theater receivers support ProLogic.
@@trevorriches136 Pro Logic is not an audio format but an upmixing mode, which falls into the same category of the "faking surround sound" that I talked about in my OP comment^^
I know the mode you talk about and it sounds terrible on my Denon setup. Simply because it fails to properly upmix stereo sound. Voices are usually hoarse and terribly high and sound "stretched" on the center, background music/soundtrack is badly mixed on the side speakers and has the wrong loudness, and bass is nearly not existent.
CZcams does not support true surround sound, in any way. It's a shame. 7.1 or Dolby Atmos sound could elevate especially gaming videos so much.
@@Morgrain ProLogic is an audio mixing mode, and when implemented right it can sound just as good a as a native 5.1 mix. Most stereo recordings are made for stereo setups. Files rendered with Dolby ProLogic in mind are a completely different thing altogether. It is still a stereo recording though. You’re right, CZcams doesn’t support native 5.1. But PL can sound incredible when it’s mixed properly.
I ripped the video, open Adobe audition, and it has 6 channels audio.

This is properly created video that has 5.1 AAC audio track you just have to use HDMI eARC on TV to send 6 digital channels, SPDIF support 2 channels or compressed DTS or Dolby format that cannot be delivered by CZcams because of storage and licensing fees
