I saw David Wayne perform this song live at the Palm Springs Street Fair in Southern California and was so impressed that I purchased all of his CDs and love them all... But, in my opinion, "So Cal" is his best CD and is absolutely amazing... David Wayne is the man!

My absolute favorite acoustic version of Hotel California. I literally got goosebumps at 3:17 and the hairs on my arms stood up starting at about 3:21.

albino0wl Actually yes... The single of David Wayne's "Hotel California" can be downloaded in a high quality / high bit rate MP3 format that sounds much better than the audio here on CZcams... However, if you want even higher quality audio, I would recommend buying the CD.

I applaud his gift and love for playing! What every dedicated guitar player knows is a secret. The relationship with the guitar is most important to the guitar player. It is not just an instrument, but a friend and companion- you become partners.
There are many guitar players who just play it without respect- with no attachment.
Your comment re the relationship with the instrument is just so true. It's pure joy listening (and watching!) to any soloist - no matter what instrument they're playing - and seeing they're at one. They belong together. Awesome!
Hey Brother, I'm 66 years and I never played that well. Too late for me because of arthritic fingers but you can keep improving if you have the commitment. Yes, David is best buds with his guitar and that's what it takes. Keep at it, you'll be glad you did.

something looks wrong between the video and the music - i guess after playing guitar for 45 years you can pick thiings out like that at 3:48 he plays the same notes 3 times in a row but his fingers move after only playing 2 times , i am sure if i waste more time looking i can find more - but i still like the music - it is well done
Yeah, my thoughts exactly. It's clear that the music and the video are not from the same gig. They've probably recorded audio first at the studio (my guess based on quality and panning of the sound) and this is just a video from their gig at some mall, or something like that.
the guy was not really playing it -it was a recording of the original artist - i found out after i did my first post
At the beginning of the video is a disclaimer that said the original audio was very low due to cheap camera. The OP over dub the same guy, same music, just from his album.
Also from 2:08 , you can see that he's clearly bending the notes, but no bends in the audio.
