Speed Demon on Wheels: Mukuta 10 Plus Electric Scooter Big Guy Review!

- Welcome to my review of the awesome Mukuta 10 Plus electric scooter! In this video, I'm going to take you on a thrilling adventure as we put this scooter to the test both on and off-road.
The Mukuta 10 Plus is a beast with its massive 10-inch off-road tires and powerful 1400-watt dual motors. Trust me; it's got some serious speed! Oh, but I found out it comes with a default speed limit of around 25 km/h (about 17 mph). Don't worry; I'll show you how to unlock its true potential in the P settings!
We took this bad boy up north on the beautiful trails, and it handled them like a champ. The suspension with its four springs (two at the front and two at the back) combined with the Zoom hydraulic brakes makes for a super smooth ride, even on bumpy terrain. I just loved how this scooter ate up those bad bumps effortlessly.
One of the things that impressed me the most is its massive 20.8 amp-hour battery coupled with a 60-volt system. That's huge! The advertised range is 64 miles, but we all know real-world conditions can be different. Still, with my weight (around 265 pounds) and the scooter's max weight of 330 pounds, I had plenty of room to spare.
The power of this scooter is incredible, and it comes with three gears. Even on Gear 1 with the dual motor, it wants to take off! For longer rides, I might consider using Gear 2 or adjust the P settings to find the perfect balance.
Folding the Mukuta 10 Plus is a breeze, and those folding handlebars make it super convenient for transportation. I managed to fit it in the trunk of my small Toyota without any issues!
It comes with a few quirky extras, like Transformer-like fenders, two chargers, and an extra rear tire. I guess it's always good to have backups.
Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with the Mukuta 10 Plus! From the powerful performance to the stylish design and practicality, it gets two big thumbs up from me! If you're looking for a top-notch electric scooter for off-roading and trail riding, this one could be for you :)

Great review Tim! I just got my hands on another Mukuta and I love this thing! Put some longer matching green handlebars on it today and so worth it!
Awesome idea @ScootaGang, are they still foldable or you don't need them to fold?
@@TimsElectric Wider foldable handlebars do not exist but it sure would be nice if someone made some at 720mm wide!
I upgraded the bars also, just a little bit wider and none of that folding stuff. The cockpit is much cleaner.
Hey Tim, loving the channel as I research my next scooter in Vancouver, keep up the great work and jambo jambo!
Awesome! Thank you! Jambo Jambo :) :)
Great review Tim. I actually like the scooter and think the grey colour is very standout. Glad Sammy had fun too. 🐶👍🏻
Awesome @markduggan3004, I think Sammy is going to be coming out on some more rides in the future :)
For those who Dont know, Mukuta brand is owned by Vsette as well. Essentially identical. The word Mukuta I believe is Sanskrit which means "Crown".
For the price - its a steal because of the 60v with 32 amp Sine wave controllers, new display, Hydraulic brakes and that awesome side lights. Just my opinion here.
I didn't know that @godblessamerica5135, thanks so much for the info :) :) and for sharing your opinion, I really appreciate it...I didn't know that they were the same brand and I haven't tried a Vsett yet :)
love the Sammy cam! love the folding mechanism! Something I hate on my Kaabo Wolf King GT!
more Sammy Cam coming soon :) @TonesAdventuresHD, thanks for the support :)
Nice scooter Tim . Samson is a a great camera dog !
thanks @leechavarie4675, Sammy is awesome :)
You are an American treasure big guy!! Ty! 👍
thank you @a.k.akingloose, very kind of you to say :) Cheers
It looks amazing as a Vsett 10 owner. When I hear the word Mukuta thinking of the Lion King song lol
Awesome @ElectricScooterMan, now I do too lol :)
Its a grate scooter
Awesome to hear @MrSibercat, it sure was quick :)
Always love your reviews!❤ i wonder why nobody is doing some reviews on YUME Hawk Pro. Do you have an opinion on how the hawk pro performs? Thanks
I haven't heard of it @supwe-c4908, send me a link and I'll take a peek :)
@@TimsElectric it is a pretty descent scooter base on specs and price. One could easily get it at 1,869 with the coupon they have. Been searching for more reviews about it.
good to know that it's such a good value :)
❤❤
Awesome @aatifzeeshanjavaidkhokhar9425
The speed setting are only speed limiters. They do not provide any more torque and only top speed. It is also good to know that this version has less suspension travel than the original Vsett 10+. A different look but same size motors and battery (1400W x2, 60V, 28 amps). Less travel makes this scooter a lower performer off road than the original where you will save about $400.
thanks for sharing @AtomicB-zq2cw
the MUKUTA is good for most of my riding / city streets / bike trails / public parks / rough streets w/ potholes , man hole covers , the suspension is satisfactory , no steering damper necessary , seems more stable than the VESETT 10 +
Put some loc-tite on the fender bolts mainly where it connects to the suspension.
OMG @carbot6801, that's so funny, I did that this afternoon lol :)
I just took the stupid things off and I like it much better. I also got rid of those super heavy folding handlebars and put on a single piece aluminum bar and that also was a major upgrade.
hey Tim what kind of range are you getting on the 20 ah mukuta? i'm 95kgs and really interested in this scooter, are you still enjoying it?
Awesome question @danizm4165, I don't recall but 20ah if you're riding for range should be about 25 miles or so....maybe more :)
I heard the scooter has a smaller deck. I’m 6 foot 230 pounds. Would I fit comfortably or nah?
@theskeptik1 it does indeed...I have wide 13s....and I made it work fine...but it is smaller .....what a blast to ride though :)
The end though 9:24 🤣, also can you guys do speed test and range test if possible 🌹
awesome idea @chakragod6713, will do :)
Can you please review the Taur 2!
Awesome idea @zztop7000, I did reach out and didn't hear back :( I guess I need a larger audience :(
@TimsElectric give them time they always respond. Have you seen the Taur original? Its the same style the Taur 2 is much powerful and more improvement. Thanks again your AWESOME 👌 👏 👍 😍
I've seen them on indiegogo or somewhere...side by side stance is interesting :) it looks awesome...maybe they'll reach out :)
love the idea and the big wheels :)
Does the display show when it's on single/dual mode?
Awesome question @HuntForParfection, I actually don't remember sorry :(
My Mukuta’s brakes make a somewhat loud buzzing sound when I pull each lever. Do you think this is normal?
I don't @gsepp13ify, have you cleaned the discs with rubbing alcohol and a clean rag to see if it helps?
thank you @@user-ke9yk5qp3u will do :)
I got mine up to 50 miles an hour but the speedometer runs a bit fast. So probably 47 top.
Awesome @user-ke9yk5qp3u, 🐘🛴🤘👍 stay safe :)
Hi , Which country is it made?
Awesome ? oliverjavier7367, pretty much all the scooters are made in China (a couple in Israel and South Korea)
@@TimsElectric thanks Tim
you're welcome :)
What’s the right tire pressure?
it should say on the tire....I don't have it here to check :)
I'm not heavy and I run them at about 38 psi.
What felt faster, this of the klima ?
This @thomasK411, thanks for asking :)
@@TimsElectric I meant this or the klima. I'm shocked the klima is so fast for being small but thanks for letting me know
they're both little rockets :)
Can you ride this scooter in the rain. I live in Ireland so yea😅
Awesome question @ds2985, typically not...it rains heaps here on the island too...usually from October to January :)
So if you're looking at riding in the rain I'd look at the Apollo City ...I've reviewed it and it's one of the only ones that I ride when it gets miserable out :)
@@TimsElectric ok thx mate
happy to help :) If you go with an Apollo let me know and I'll send you a code for $50 of free accessories :)
In my opinion the Mukutas suspension is a bit to bouncy
Interesting @cervic4285, I can't remember, but can you adjust it?
Can this be a Klima killer...?????
sorry @darkozivko7683, I don't know the Klima....can you send me a link and I'll check it out :)
Nami Klima 60V scooter...
@@darkozivko7683 awesome idea...I saw it and think it would be ab awesome scooter 😀
They rip us off in Australia, you don't get spare guards or extra tyres and tubes or the tool kit ,only get 1 charger no carry bag and it costs $2000 .
Ouch!!!! Sorry to hear that :(
wow wtf, thanks for the heads up who did you purchase through?
It’s the same thing here in America when ordered from Atlanta E scooters. 1 charger, no socket wrench, no scooter bag. I paid $1800 for 25ah version so I can’t complain.
@@juulzz2599 I think they stopped giving the extras on the later production , the ones that first came out were promotional so they added the extras to boost sales , but the price from Atlanta E-scooters is a fair price , you could buy the extras with the money you saved if you wanted
I like the speed of the electric scooter 🛴 the scooter in this video is ugly.
Awesome @100realtorah3
Maybe I'm in the minority, but the Mukuta is at the top of my list of ugliest scooters ever designed. They washed-out grey and raised dirt-collecting swirly patterns are the polar opposite of the refined minimalism that I prefer. I do love the display though. How readable is it in direct sunlight?
different strokes lol @ericembacher602, not the best in the sunshine for sure...but wow that power is fun :)
U have ZERO taste. ZERO.
I think the gray/lime green combo looks awesome. Better than many other scooters!
the grey color with the green shocks and futuristic look make it look like an ALIEN MACHINE , look good to me
