Have to say, BABYMETAL and Su-metal were fun at first, Metal as fuck after and then Su-metal started growing as a vocalist where she can now belt with the best of em and has a pretty impressive vocal range.
Seems she went from "Japanese Idol" in a quirky metal themed project to having embraced the genre and honed her craft as the lead of a Metal band, not just a corporate owned Idol.
Yep, while they're trying many genres, they did some songs which goes down in metal history with the greats. Who doesn't see this, is just ignorant.

It's not that hard
Su is not only a great singer but her diction is superb. I can understand her when she's singing in Japanese far better than a lot of artists when they are singing in English. Seriously, whatever she does next I am following her. I just want to see her perform more. This is what she was meant to do.
She's a generational talent, but then works incredibly hard to constantly improve on top of that. It's so impressive.

I've seen the original clip before, and I knew from the title of this compilation that this moment would be in here. The ultimate death stare. I would have dropped my camera if that would have been me, as it surely would have overheated and started melting in my hand.
Moametal is famous for making eye contact with the ONE. Except she doesn't have a death stare! Even on Moabanger, it was more of a death smirk. Moa is Moa.

Yep!! I can attest to that to as just heard an isolated vocal track of Devine Attack-Shingeki on rededit. Just to see how it held up. OMG I wasn't prepared here lol.
Not only do Su-Metal carry the entire song. She had perfect pitch & an opera like serprano voice. No way she could get to that level of baddass sitting on her ass. I have even more respect for them now. No wonder their live performances are so damn good!! :)
Yes! I heard the same track. Her voice just keeps getting better. I decided to put this fancam video together just because so many people seemed to think her voice was studio trickery. There's something really special about it, especially live.

Being a sound engineer I know a thing or two about audio. Su-Metal during that performance had a bit of a voice passaggio as vocalists like to call it or voice crack. I was like this is live & had a smile on my face.

Su has since fixed that as I compared the two tracks to a more recent performance. She is far stronger now in that point. So you know that was probably on her mind at the time.
I am not making that mistake again lol. Also just to add some credence to that. I came across just recently kinda by chance here. A rare audio mic check from a few years ago.

Someone was outside an auditorium somewhere and caught it live. It was I think Megitsune which it sounds like here. Then it later had Moa & possibly Yui later on doing their chants. That was undisputed proof here!!
Su was well beyond what one would expect of someone her age. These ladies are no joke they take themselves as seriously as the Kami Band. So thank you for putting this together. 💕 :b

Impatiently waiting for the seal to be broken, but with the situation in Japan don't think we'll see them Live until Fall 2022 at the earliest.

🤩🤟🇯🇵! Philly show was 13 SEP 2019, on a Friday - with a Full Moon. My ears were ringing until Sunday, thanks for posting on your channel. One of the best live performances I’ve ever seen, the later live arrangements were different a few weeks later after the release of Metal Galaxy. 🦊

I'm so thankful I made it to 3 of their shows in 2019. I had a feeling I better go to as many as I can as soon as I discovered them....turns out that may have been the last chance to see them in the US so I am glad I did.
I have to hope that they'll tour again someday. But you're very lucky.

Found out later that he was in a wedding band and did parties. He played jazz as well. From others I was told he was actually really good. I guess the other neighbor just wasn't a fan. Or so.e folks just gotta complain about something.
I can confirm we'd pay to be her neighbor and encourage her to sing even louder.

It is quite amazing seeing her grow up....some of the early footage of her with many other similar young girls all competing for position....it was clear she was head and shoulders....literally - above those around her. Key Kobayashi picked a young girl to be his star performer.....and she has not disappointed!! All that said - my preference is for the trio set-up..... and I miss yui and Moa. Kami band? AGAIN - Kobayashi does not mess around - he always hires the very best musicians.
