There was a long time in my life that I had no dreams. Grew up in a controlled environment. A dreamless life is a miserable one--that I have left behind. I'm learning to dream. It's not easy to be a late bloomer but it is worth it.

@@naseemjacobs2064 that's a woman who was living stuck in the dude's body she was born in for all those years, and is finally being true to herself. Trust me, you wouldn't want to feel dysphoria. It's like a ghost that haunts you and hurts you mentally in everything to do. I wouldn't want my worse enemy to have it. It's too much to deal with.

Thank you. I really want to get this off my chest, I have been fearful in transitioning from mtf and now I have started in my third month. It wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for the people before me who fought through each obstacle that life threw at them, and I want to thank you not only because you transition but because the time that it took was never lost.

I don't know if this motivational speech will go viral. All I know is that it should. I felt every single word of it in my soul and it is gonna be a speech I'll never forget.
I too know what it is like to.. just TRY. So many people stop before they ever start and give up before they ever try. Like you said, we all have it within us to be champions. We just have to believe enough in ourselves to try.
I have been spending my whole life trying to succeed at one thing after another, including things I once deemed impossible, and I have discovered three important things. 1. I can succeed at things, lots of things, even the impossible. 2. I'm not alone in my pursuits. 3. If I fall on my face, God will somehow rescue me and I will be fine.
#3 is the most important to me because that belief has made me unstoppable.
My biggest rule of thumb for my life is that if something I want is truly a deep heartfelt desire, then it is something I am meant to pursue. Many wishes come and go in life, but those that stay with us, those that surprise us by their longevity, those are the ones we are meant to pursue.
Like you, I dealt with being a people pleaser instead of living my life authentically. I was a closeted gay man and being masculine, I could have remained closeted forever. But at 23, I decided I didn't want to be a fake people pleasing version of myself anymore. It was as if I was living the life of an actor on stage and no one knew the real me. At 23, I broke up with my girlfriend, moved away, and began living honestly, in my truth, something that I had never done before. My new life wasn't perfect, but I knew no matter what problems I faced, this was my life, the life I was meant to live and figure out as I went. I vowed to remain authentic and honest no matter what and in doing so, my life took on a whole new look, with new truer friends and eventually cronic happiness, which I have learned to protect and safeguard.
Being the real me has made me and my life the greatest it could have ever been.
I think you should keep this motivational stuff up. You truly have a gift for it. 💕

Back in the 70's, I was the one of the first girls to join the Attica Boy's track team (cause I had a crush on team member only). A coach saw me run and put faith in me. He was my History teacher as well and I felt I had to do my best in his class and in track. I never thought I was good in anything and I didn't want him to know. Fast forward... My Olympic moment was making the Genesee County semi finals in the 220 yd. dash. Plus I had a 94 average in History. RIP Mr. Slyvinski, Thank you! Love your Motivational Talk Caitlyn!!! Caitlyn... Your life is an inspiration. Transitioning in the early 80's, I had almost no one for a role model.. but I did it for me. Finished college at 39 , in 1997, fulfilled my every dream. At 60 I'm losing my heath but love life. I realized I now need new dreams .. I am blessed, and I will make new dreams come true.. thanks for your courage. How many people can be a handsome Olympic athletic stud and then blossom into a gorgeous, classy, elegant, inspiring and super intelligent and compassionate woman! Not anyone has but you Cait! It must have been so hard trying to communicate to others how you felt inside! I’m an artist and I find it so difficult to be understood! It is so scary sometimes feeling not understood and judged! This was your souls journey and just like your Olympic days you Won!!!! I decided in my life my purpose was to leave this world a better place through art and saving lives of animals!
