Spiderman has always been for kids and kids grew up on him so it'd be weird to randomly make a Childhood character R rated which lowers majority of Spiderman's audience.

Sure Peter isn’t R rated himself, but many of his villains I’d say are more vulgar for sure and would fit in an R rated movie. There are plenty of comic book tropes they could cover in an R rated Spider-Man film even without Deadpool. I do agree though Spider-Man is usually a more family friendly story/audience, but we’ve seen with Deadpool R rated movies could even outperform a pg-13 movie. Deadpool is one of the highest grossing films and it’s R rated so I really would disagree to that point. It’s just the content they would decide to cover I think that would ultimately make or break the crossover concept.
Matthew McConaughey is in the film as a Cowboy variant for one of the characters. I’m going to leave it at that. Side note. Why isn’t anybody talking about how big of a role Man Thing will play in the multiverse. That’s why they first planted the seeds in Thor Ragnarok and put him in Werewolf by Night. He literally guards it and Loki is holding it together.

Great breakdown. I have a few observations. Lets not forget the quick shot of Patch. For those that arent old like me, there was a Logan comic in the early 90s where Logan had an alter ego named Patch who had an eye patch, wore a white suit, and hung out in casinos. It was sort of his International mercenary phase. Patch was sort of like Bogart's Rick in Casablanca. I hadn't thought about Lady Deadpool being Blake Lively, I just assumed it was Taylor Swift who is assumed/teased to be in the movie.
