it's a shame that SM never used Jungwoo's visuals even though he is "objectively" handsome and was called by some people as "the next top visual of SME" before his debut (and to me, he is one of the pretties idols i have ever seen 🤭), ofc Jungwoo has many more qualities, but what's the point of being pretty and charismatic and not using it to their/his advantage? i hope this will change in the future and he will have more opportunities, especially now that he is much more confident

They did seem to want to project Jungwoo as cute and innocent early on. Believe me, he’s as “innocent” as I am. It’s possible, though, that they wanted to emphasize a part of his personality that was already there. They did have him looking sexier during the “Punch” era, and I believe the company became more serious about making sure people saw how hot the members were during Sticker.” If it were up to me and other JW stans, Jungwoo would have had a solo career years ago. But I’ve learned that it’s a slow, gradual process with these companies. Far more famous and successful artists have had to wait their turn.
Maybe bcs they dont want him to shade the official visual member, thats why they style him less then some member, its a shame, like we see other member got some interesting styling, but they keep covering his pretty face n forehead with bangs, also a boring costume too.
