I show you what it reads when I hold it up in the air & say the readings out loud. I also say match the color of the water with the colors on the side.
Your P.H. reading should be between 7.2 - 7.6. Your Chlorine should be between 2 - 4 ppm. Thanks for watching & subscribe to the channel 👍

@@ApartmentMaintenance I don't have numbers I just saw color of water. It turned Magenta and the other turned dark purple. I looked it up online. It said comparative to a hot tub in chlorine? This is my drinking Water. Can you advise me. City said it was normal. I know it's not bathing cooking washing dishes safe water? My dog won't eat steak I cooked in a pan that I washed the pan in my hot tub water. I have a Brita to drink and rinse pans now. That and vinegar in the dish sink.

@@Angelsbliss818 I don't know what the levels are supposed be for your city. This is water from a swimming pool that I'm testing & a swimming pool test kit. There might be a different test kit for potable water which I would talk with the city about all that information. Hope this helps. Thanks

My water at home tested dark purple and magenta. I complained to Water Co. They said it's normal. No it's hot tub level water. Ugh. I'm not drinking this. My dog wouldn't eat a steak I made her cuz I "washed" the pan in my water. It's clearly not drinkable.
