- Some of you already know what I used to make this pendant and for other of you... it's is a mystery basket ingredient! Hope you enjoy the video. This tutorial is pretty simple and the results are magnificent.
CORRECTION to the comment I made that the aluminum dulls scissors. It does not dull them and actually will improve their performance.
I used Sculpey black clay as we as scrap clay along with alcohol inks (Pinata Baja Blue, Pinata Segnorita Magenta, Ranger Citron and Ranger Purple).

Et mon mari se demandait pourquoi le papier aluminium disparaissait de la cuisine ! lui, lui ! J'ai pensé que ce serait une idée amusante d'utiliser un objet plutôt ordinaire. Il y a des gens d'autres parties du monde qui m'envoient des messages me demandant s'ils peuvent fabriquer des pendentifs sans tous les trucs fantaisistes que nous avons. Je pense donc que je pourrais créer une vidéo en utilisant simplement des éléments de la maison. Je pense que ce serait difficile mais super amusant. Bonne journée mon ami !! If you don't see the clay, technically you wouldn't need the clay then if you throw it in a closed bezel. Or maybe use epoxy clay if you still want a backing and don't want to bake stuff. Interesting possibilities!
Well you can use the clay as a base just use scraps that don't matter

What can I use instead of resin? Any household item?
Maybe a clear nail polish? That might work. But the question is..... is it a household item?! Thanks so much for watching!
I’m wondering how you applied the resin to completely cover the wrinkles in the aluminum foil? Multiple coats?
You can use a good doming resin, should cover it up... I would make sure your peaks aren't too high when you are forming it :)
It took two coats, which I was surprised because I thought it would take more!
is 270 degrees farenheit or celcius
270 Fahrenheit. I would just follow instructions on the clay because different companies of clay suggest different temperatures. I am using Sculpey.

Hi Sandy! The pink one is a metal bezel with aluminum foil, alcohol ink and resin.
