- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 26 May announced development initiatives in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, while on a visit to the state. The PM said, 'Projects worth over 31,000 crore are either inaugurated or foundation stone has been laid. India will continue to stand with people of Sri Lanka, democracy, stability'. He added, 'Tamil Language is eternal & Tamil culture is global. Govt of India is committed to popularise Tamil language & culture': PM Modi in Chennai, Tamil Nadu'

That's true. Tamil is also spoken in Sri Lanka and south east asia. This language is the pride and brand ambassador of india in these regions :')
Hindi is official language in Allahabad high court, but in Tamil Nadu last 70 years our demand tamil should be declared as official language in Chennai high court not accepted by Union Government, they are following differant scale within the indian state, which is absolutely discrimination

I am a proud Sanghi and I admire the Tamil language and culture. Dravidian parties seek to divide us but we are all Hindus so in the end they will fail. Plus Tamil is the one Indian language not derived from Sanskrit, and is one of the oldest in the world. It certainly is intriguing at the very least. Not to mention Tamil art and cinema.

@@kashinathmaharana7422 Sanskrit is being studied in a big way in Europe. They are preparing to take Sanskrit into the computers. In UK they are predicting Sanskrit will replace English in 50 years time.
If Indians resist Sanskrit it'll be their loss when Sanskrit becomes language for computers and AI.

Even i have been advised to do for staying in uk 😂, because it is why they have and the foreign countries do have studies for porn. They will introduce the exam which are requested by 30+ people for study for nowadays.
I have 10 odd Gujju’s and another 15 of north particularly from UP and Punjab who were in HYD and BLR for over 7 years, none speak local language or have any inclination to learn. They live in their ghettos, partying and making fun of locals. They want jobs, snatch jobs with preference to their community. They use South Indian as working slaves. This is truth.

In the 60-70s TN govt. used to fund Tamil language lessons outside of TN. They used to help build syllabus for both Tamil and non Tamil folks to learn Tamil. My father's generation learnt Tamil from schools in Maharashtra run by the State. Ever since they stopped, the Tamil community lost the ability to learn Tamil. The current generation are functionally illiterate when it comes to Tamil
DMK should expand access to learn Tamil in every state in India. Every state should improve access to learn state languages. Otherwise they will simply just die.

I do not speak any Indian Languages but that does not mean That I love less my Indian people who speak the different languages in India from where ever you are. There are people inside and outside of India that want you to give up your Indian culture and become Moslems and Christians. Believe me they are leading you down the wrong path.
