Yeah. Gives that feeling of "You're in for the hardest fight" followed by the amazing theme. I personally never was able to get up to her in my playthroughs of the original Diamond game but by gods does her theme sound so amazing.

Yep, that’s what happened to me. Had no idea who she was back then, and was feeling all high and mighty after beating the Elite 4 and Team Plasma. That feeling instantly dissipated when I saw the level her first Pokémon had.
Best champion theme no question, for the best champion no question. Kinda scared that they might make her easier for the dp remakes though, she has a reputation to uphold.
Well as the remake isn't made by gamefreak, least I don't think since their resources would be more focused on legends, I'd be hard stuck to think they'll keep or possibly up the difficulty. But I'm with you Cynthia had her reputation to hold onto
@@GentlemanMudkip it is being co-directed by the same man who directed the originals but the dev team and other director is the team that made Pokémon home so I don't know, it could go either way. I'm hopeful that a 3rd party company will do what the fans want, but they could also go the other direction and try to please game freak by making it baby easy and more enticing to first time players. Honestly it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a difficulty setting like post game black/white, and I guess if anyone's likely to change up the formula then it'll be a 3rd party company.
If they don't keep her aa challenging to start off I would love to at least see the challenge key from B2/W2 make a return

This would already be a banger of a cover if it was just Cynthia's battle theme, but the fact that you actually included "Approaching Cynthia" as the initial bit before the proper theme kicked in just made it perfect

I mean, she's not having a bad day, but if you enter her unmarked villa in Undella Town, you're suddenly thrown into a Champion battle with no warning.
@@TwoBitSpecialist Yeah... there _really_ should've been some sort of warning, like, as you get closer to that specific villa, you can hear the Approaching Cynthia theme on piano getting louder and louder, as if she were playing it herself in her down-time.
I mean, it wouldn't have meant anything to new players, but veterans of the Gen IV games would've had at least _some_ warning to check their stock of Revives and Full Restores.

So I've never been one for covers, usually I just hate them for not being the originals. But you my good man have become one of my favorite cover artists. Everything you do is so perfect, and often a genuine improvement over the originals that I can't help but like it, as someone who really loves thrashy guitar like what you use for your songs.
