@@nterogate Basically (and idk how it works in America but I assume it's a similar thing) if you can't afford to buy or rent a property, the government should provide social housing for you. These blocks of social housing are known as council estates because they are funded by local councils. The reason they are called estates is basically to make them sound nicer because estate was the word used to describe the massive manors owned by the landed gentry up until the 20th century.
