Pretty clean find. Worth that much just in body panels. The interior is less of a concern. We're talking GM here. So, there are a lot of parts shared between platforms. Therefore, lots of availability both OE and aftermarket. You can get some decent leather seat upholstery for $350 a row. Install an aftermarket radio and throw in a backup camera. You could turn around and sell the thing for decent profit. Personally, I'd keep it til the wheels fell off. She's a diamond in the rough.
I bought a 2004 4x4, 3500/1 ton , 8.1 , Allison trans, 410 rear end , 237,000 miles runs great for $7,000. I pull a 24ft gooseneck 7,000 lbs hauling 15 round rolls of hay at 1,200 lbs each that a total of 22,500 lbs pulling . It moves about 1000 bales a year. That the heaviest loads it pulls. It haul my tractor weighs at 9,500 lbs plus 7,000lbs trailer that's 16,500lbs

I love the door squeak on the back passenger door. My 01’ made that sound from day one. 200k later and it still sounds the same. Other than the interior the truck is in excellent shape. I have the exact color and drivetrain with leather interior and other than the crappy mileage It’s my favorite vehicle to drive. Too bad I didn’t see this video a year ago. I would have given you a grand for the truck after you removed that hideous push bar.

A suburban 2500 with the 8.1 is not a given. Most came with the 6L. An 8.1 is a rare find. I have had my 04 since 2011 and flew from Illinois to DC to pick it up. I have over 200K on it now. Just put a Flowmaster super 44 on it. Sounds great but should have put the super 10 on it. It is a fantastic truck.

Copart King - I thought you were saying that the 2500 only came with the 8.1. I have a Burb with the 8.1 and 4.10 axle. Rated to tow 12,000 lbs and tows great!

@@Jbster1983 make me an offer...new fuel pump, fuel regulator, leaf spring bracket, front and rear brake pads and rotors, camshaft sensor, throttle body was just cleaned as well. The only light on is the ABS light but the brakes work perfect 👌🏾

I got my 02 8.1l for 1500,these things are tanks and were actually used in armored vehicles .

Dude great deal for a 3/4 ton Burb with the big block. These clean up nice and are so easy to work on. It will make a nice tow rig and family hauler.

PRAZGZS -etagnroht The heater core went bad, so they bypassed it. So it’s not no heater, but it doesn’t overheat or anything.
Is that in the front and the rear? Doesn’t the rear have it’s own heater core? Hmmm. Still, what a great unit.
