Hello so 1m of dyneema with a diameter of 3mm gives a loop of 20cm. the sheath is a scrap of a sheathed dyneema rope used in the video with the friction rings. This sheath is approximately 10cm long and the rope it came from was 5mm. If I had had longer sheath scraps, I would have added a little more length.
@@VoilierMartineke Thank you for the reply. Going to try and make a loop as per your method from this video. I have some spare 4mm so will use that, I suppose the overall starting length might need to be slightly longer.
