    Thankou for your brief and non-technical description of a corn harvester. You in US grow a lot of that, we in AUS grow mostly wheat, barley and sheep, But 'harvesting' them is another story !

    "Gleaner," here in southern Ontario those combines are referred to as the Silver Seeder. Enjoy your time with them.

      ​@nelsonfarms The nickname came as a result of high grain loss due to farmers not knowing how to set them up when they introduced the transverse rotors in the N series. My biggest gripe running an N5 (this is probably due to age, rather than being a design flaw) is getting it in gear.

      The green and reds leave plenty on the ground too, it's all in how you set them up. Still in my mind the Gleaner is the cleanest sample of anyone.
