This is the song I have been searching for for AGES!!! I only remembered the trumpet part and I recreated it and put it on soundcloud but never got no answer, until I posted it on a music group on facebook. Two days and I got my answer. Fantastic!
Totally gutted to find out Billy had died. Feckin loved the Faith Brothers. Remember the first time I heard Stranger on the radio and it blew me away. Couldn't wait to tell my friend about it. Really loved The Tradesmans Entrance as well. Can't believe it. R.I.P Billy Franks, you were awesome. ❤
Brilliant, Country of the blind, Easter Parade, Eventide, tradesman's entrance and this classic - a much under rated and greatly missed band, many memories - thanks Billy!
This is the first time I've seen the video to a song I bought after a recommendation. Got the 12 inch and played the groove off it. tremendous and sooo under rated.
Used to watch the lads at the Golden Gloves in Hammersmith when they had changed there name to the Big Five, Steve Howlett was a good friend who played the drums, all from Fulham........great days!!!1
@hamhuntley Ha - I did exactly the same. What a line up that day. Faith Brothers (who were the best band on the day), Spear of Destiny, Billy Bragg, Ramones (I got kicked to hell in the mosh pit), REM and then a very disappointing U2. Still love the Faiths.
