Of course he wouldn't have been able to if my grandmother didn't pay for the fancy lawyer that brought him in. It was the late 90's, so no body cams or anything. He made the mistake of talking to the cops too. He thought he was overdosing and begged for help since he didn't know how he got to where he was. That and dressing him up for court. They decided he was a stupid college kid who made a mistake. A couple of the jurors came up to him after, wished him luck and told him to get it together.
