Also, it depends on the position of the camera too. If the camera’s view of the target is blocked, the game starts screaming like it lost object permanence. 😂

I've been playing through it lately and I find it hilarious how the gauge really does just go down almost instantly. On most characters so far it's made some sense because they don't know who yagami is, but I got through tailing higashi and it really makes no sense for him to just be like "yeah, the guy who I got told to find and capture was right there behind me but eh, it's probably nothing." Also they just kinda suck ass so I'm glad there was almost none in the main story for lost judgement.
This is so spot on, i remember when my dad tried to follow a target that went to the store, they both stared at each other for like 2-3 seconds before my dad ran away to not fail the tailing mission and the guy was like, "i swear i saw him"
You forgot the part where if you don’t see the target for one second, the game is like “FIND THE TARGET IN 30 SECONDS OR THE WORLD EXPLODES!!!”, and you do look back at the target after that one second, and it stays like that for 3 seconds, then continues normally. I always hated that.
This was hilarious, your spot on as usual. I love the intro & the little Oblivion Easter egg especially 😂 Didn't mind this mechanic in Judgement at first but it got old pretty fast, that & the chase sequences. I actually prefer the chase mini game in Yakuza 4, it just felt more interesting to me.
I'm still waiting for someone to port the street thugs/yakuza/gangsters/delinquents/drunks/menacing man models from yakuza 0 and kiwami to gmod and SFM

Plot Twist: 47 can see Yagami using his enhanced senses, he just ignores him because he is a non-target.
You can still knock out non targets. And I would definitely do that if someone was following me.
@@ArbelMilis knocking out non targets are a big no no in many situations since many missions have crowded people/tough security
