I love that every one is complaining about the beruit explosion, more bait and switch. Pay attention to the predictive programming instead. A.I. is already talking about a singularity (this movie plot) and nobody is saying anything about that.

The interpersonal relationship between the characters of Mr Washington and the young child actress seem to be reminiscent of the animated picture The Iron Giant. They seem to have something to say beyond what we might expect from your more typical sci-fi blockbuster. . This will make or break the film.
Rogue One, along with Andor, are the only Disney Star Wars properties that have compelling writing all throughout.
I also have great respect for Gemma Chan, being one of the strongest actors in recent memory. I have great hope for this movie.
They are going to take our world to that edge of humanity.
I’m betting right now the plot twist is that the humans are actually bad in this movie and they were actually responsible for the nuclear bomb detonating in LA

Nobody blinks an eye when footage of 9/11 is used in films/documentaries, this is no different. The whole point of film is to be as believable as possible, what’s more believable than submersing our own real world within the cinematic universe of the film 😅
Real life events can inform artists how to render things properly.
I don't think anyone should use footage of Beirut explosion or 9/11 in any film designed for entertainment. Very bad taste.
@@Xavier-sp5ecI've never seen 9/11 footage in movies and if real footage is used, it's a report on the actual event and it's relevant to the story. Here they used a real disaster and used it as an effect without acknowledging the real thing..they could easily have made a CGI explosion from scratch but they chose poor taste. How would you make a 9/11 documentary without footage.. it's not entertainment
