So it's now 2023, and I came back to this beautiful song today. I was just as moved as when I heard it for the first time, and of course, I shared it ❤. May God's name continue to be lifted up.
I lost my grandma last year to Cancer.. she was one of the original founders of the SDA church in Ghana. This song reminds me so much of her in her last days..she kept singing when she was in the worst pain. She kept talking about going home to the City of her saviour. I know she is there with him and is not in pain anymore; I miss her a lot but this song makes me feel she is with us in a good way and it makes me look forward to meeting my Lord and my granny one day in Jerusalem above. Suddenly today i sang the song, first two lines and i dont even know where it came from but i searched it on youtube and here it is!! This song helped me through a tough time a while back and im thankful for those that performed it. BEAUTIFUL!!
