Well done.
@ 17:18...massive mold seam, hopefully you saw it and got rid of it. It was driving me nuts...lol.
I did! It was driving me nuts too. I went over it with thick CA, activator, then brush painted it.
Great work! Thanks for all the tips in this (and the previous) video as it will definitely help me with my soviet valentine project!
Thanks! Happy to help! The Valentine is a great model. Enjoy!
Looks awesome great Job
Thank you!
Good job!
Thank you!
The "sash" that the figures are wearing are actually their army greatcoats, thats how they carried them when not being worn 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks! That makes sense!
Looks awesome, the head you're painting at 19:15 looks like Border modelled it after Vladimir Putin LMAO
Thanks!
That looks freaking awesome Dave! You're right, using the airbrush on smaller figures is really difficult. I do it sometimes on larger areas and then brush paint the details. I need to try some of that putty. how long can you keep reusing it?
Thanks Donnie. I definitely learned that glazing with paint retarder is the way to go with miniature figure skin tones. I've been using the same putty on all my models for a few months now and it still works just the same so I'm not really sure how long it lasts. The putty has some property to it that repels paint but it seems to almost incorporate the paint into itself because it goes right back to an oily black color once you knead it together
Great work and explanation. What type of retarder are you using? Thank you.
Thank you. I was using VMS paint retarder for brush painting
The detailed explanation was very helpful, and I will visit you often. "Subscribe" and "Like" 🤩👍
Awesome, thank you!
are they russian figures? they look german I think, I suppose from miniart? grea job congrat for your channel
They actually came with the tank kit from Border Models. I didn't buy them separately. This entire build was out of the box. Metal barrel, figures, and PE all came with the kit.
