I must have missed this one! Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear, when from out of the past come the thundering hoofbeats of the great horse Silver! The Lone Ranger rides again!
Don't forget to say hi to the girls, but if you see the silver badge of a police car, AWAY! They won't respect your excuse that you're a texas ranger who was killed and came back to life.
I was hoping you'd have done this one, and I looked, and lo and behold, there it was! And it DID NOT disappoint! Love it! I'm not a metal fan, but this rocks!
Maybe you are a metal fan, you just don't realise it yet. Of course it's an aquired taste but if you take cautious baby steps into the tamer forms of metal or even metal-tinged mainstream rock, you could find you'd be able to work your way onto the heavier stuff. It's really all about an adrenaline rush, so if this at all gave you a little exciting feeling inside or raised your pulse, good job, you may be in for the ride.
A fiery horse with the speed of light, a cloud of dust and a hearty "Hi-yo Silver" - the Lone Ranger! With his faithful Indian companion, Tonto, the daring and resourceful masked rider of the plains led the fight for law and order in the early West. Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear. The Lone Ranger rides again! Beautiful performance!
james arterburn calm down YOU asshole-quoting a TV show shouldn’t piss you off that much-& I’m writing this as someone who is currently tired & very easy to irritate; CHILL
Too friggin' awesome for words. And yet here I am typing away. I've loved this song since I was a kid, and now it's been taken to the next level. Thank you so damned much.
I have mentioned this on another of your sites. I am a 68 year old female and think you are incredible!! I have heard hundreds of great musicians in my life, and you are tops. Mozart was a genius and so are you. Your work on all, particularly Last of the Mohicans - my hair stands on end. Thank you!!!
ive listened to loads of your posts and all of them have blew me away, but this one is by far my favourite, i have played guitar for over thirty years but i am amazed by your guitar playing., your timing ,interpretation and tone are absolutely flawless.
THAT... was ultra cool. To tell the truth, I never thought I'd hear a - METAL - version of the overture, but I'll be the first to admit... you did a stunning, respectable performance of it! Bravo..............................
You deny God yet idol ize anyone superior in talent than you. Proof of the LIVING WORD OF GOD! You speak the terms and language down on your mindwashed lil peon brains lost lower consciousness levels when it suits you. But spend most of your time speaking down on His Children. Discusting to bare witness to your wiles of the devil your father you mimic. Puppet for the PUPPET MASTER.
I want to say that this was awesome, but awesome doesn't even come close to describing this. Why 110 people would give it a thumbs down is beyond me. I'd give two thumbs up if CZcams would let me.
You made me smile again! I´ve wanted to hear this song again for ages and then you uploaded the video! Congratulations for your videos and lots of greetings form Spain! Rock on!
So writing a report on some pretty deep stuff, even for philosopher, when all of a sudden this comes on in my playlist. You totally killed the moment! At least now I'm in a better mood. But AGH! I lost it.
I literally cant stop hearing again and again. Awesome! Have you ever heard about Ofenbach Infernal Galop (also named Can Can)?? Maybe you like it... as much as the W.Tell Overture... If you know what i mean >.>
Dude I have been watching these vids for a while you just get better and better! I love when you do famous classical pieces I think its awesome when old shit gets a new spin. Keep doing what you do best :)
i just realised why eric winks and then smiles all the time he's playing, its because he can do stuff that almost noone else can, but i'm glad he does it, genius, end of!
there used to be this guy named VADRUMS on here and you guy's would have made a good team because he used to do all kinds of drums covers like this and Mario Brothers
Rylan Malis I'm not 100 percent sure what film that audio is cut out of but i know the same line is recited in Ace Venture pet detective. Its in the scene where he's making shadows with a projector. Also it was Saleen not a ferrari.
the parts are done very well. very impressive. my only complaint is that the whole piece is played fortissimo while clearly rossinni made certain parts piano to give the piece more substance and depth. this version lacks dynamics that make this piece interesting.
Alan Jensen I don't think he's trolling? The original does have rapid dynamic changes, 'twas a little annoying to play but it sounds cool. Nonetheless, this cover sounds great. :)
I'm pretty sure that would be really hard to control dynamics as much on an amplified guitar while shredding as mad as this guy does. On a bowed string instrument or a wind/brass instrument, it's much easier to control dynamics.
Yes, Rossinni explicitly wrote out all Electric Guitars for his arrangements and this video is clearly evidence they are incapable of precise inflection...
This is the soundtrack is KISS, The Lone Ranger and a lot of bikers decided to rob a train and escape the cops... By flying in the air with rocket boots and horses.
This is how you know you've made great music, when it translates into any genre and can be played on a multitude of instruments and it still sounds fuckin awesome! Good job Rossini!
You are really good. Thanx. I use to run home from third grade to catch the Lone Ranger saga on am radio in the early 50's. Then I realized years later it was the music I was running home to hear. Must have been, cause I remember every note of the William Tell, but not a single story of the Lone Ranger. :o)
This is what happened when Ghost Rider filled in for The Lone Ranger that one time when he got sick.
Favorite comment so far :D
Pretty much my friend
Speaking of which, always liked “Ghost Riders In the Sky”
Lmfao
Rossini sat up his grave, then applauded loudly. "Music for the age... and the ages, " he said.
Actually he awoke and started doing an air guitar
OR he was turning over in his grave !
you never know , not every one is sufisticated to enjoy metal :)
Amen
Great comment
Indeed!
this just might be the most epic thing i've ever heard.........
+Canaan B eargasm
+Canaan B Then you clearly haven't heard the rock version of Beetlejuice.
Couldn't agree with you more!
It's up there with Canon Rock.
Tina S. Moonlight Sonata Third Movement. If that chick doesn't drop your jaw in less than 5 seconds you clearly don't know metal or classical music.
Ok, so some people do the metal version of songs and all is great. But then this guy goes full on Tonto make up! AMAZING!!!
this guy is amazing too , i promise. D:
William Tell is one of my favorites! :D
He only dresses up for the ones he really likes
He is such a ham
He forgot to wear a dead bird on his head. 😎
This is the only other version I've heard that compares with the original. Perfect guitar magic.
me disembarking the train and having to take a huge shit running for my apartment.avi
+Homeopathic Fossil-Fuels you sir just won the youtube comment oscar
Homeopathic-Fossil-Fuels..the most idiotic and asinine statement I ever heard.you sir are an ass..
I knew Rossini rocks, but never knew he could rock this hard!
I must have missed this one!
Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear, when from out of the past come the thundering hoofbeats of the great horse Silver! The Lone Ranger rides again!
Don't you love it when people make awesome covers that are Epic? I mean this literally makes me want to ride a horse down main street right now.
Don't forget to say hi to the girls, but if you see the silver badge of a police car, AWAY! They won't respect your excuse that you're a texas ranger who was killed and came back to life.
And at full gallop, too.
I was hoping you'd have done this one, and I looked, and lo and behold, there it was! And it DID NOT disappoint! Love it! I'm not a metal fan, but this rocks!

I was overjoyed when I found the Star Trek Meets Metal video. If you haven't seen that one yet it's AWESOME!
I'll watch it now, thanks!
+KelanDWood Good way to explain it. That's how I became a metalhead.
headbanger, not metalhead...that reference is motorhead
woah dude you rock. You just turned an 1800 classic into metal!

This should be my wedding song, as it draw vibes of excitement, joyful and adventures...
I'm sure that Rossini was giving the devil horn salute from his grave to this one. Nice Job!
Honestly I listen to this non-stop. By far my my #1 favorite. Followed by moonlight sonata
This is an incredible, amazing, awesome cover of William Tell Overture!!! I love The Lone Ranger, sounds incredible keep it up!!
Found this wonderful video after losing it for YEARS. Great to hear ThreeThirtyOne again! I hope you're still performing buddy
I don't think totally awesome even begins to describe what I just heard!
I have mentioned this on another of your sites. I am a 68 year old female and think you are incredible!! I have heard hundreds of great musicians in my life, and you are tops. Most definitely not in to metal at all, however I was incredible shocked and surprised, marvellous range and competence!
+Dean Hannaby Same here. Epic effort!!
gitty UP
You sir, never fail to impress. You deserve a medal. If you've already got one, have another.
What I like is the fact that you managed to keep this jovial while turning it into a fast-paced rock piece.
Brilliant! Rossini ( 1792 - 1868 ) would have loved this version!
Mike Fuller hhmm He'd probably be confused, because he never heard a guitar sound like that.
but beethoven, him, would be... How I can say it... very intrested XD
That has to be the best guitar version of that song ever!
This guys smile while he plays makes me happy.
best version of this I have ever heard
I'm sure Rossini would love this. Awesome, Eric!
Holy shit that is awesome :-O
👍
My 2 year old son loves this song and head bangs to your version! It's great to see your big smile while you are playing.
ive listened to loads of your posts and all of them have blew me away, but this one is by far my favourite, i have played guitar for over thirty years but i am amazed by your guitar playing., your timing ,interpretation and tone are absolutely flawless.
1812 overture meets metal?
I want to see flight of the bumblebees and flight of the Valkyries done.
That would be AMAZING!!
THAT... was ultra cool. To tell the truth, I never thought I'd hear a - METAL - version of the overture, but I'll be the first to admit... you did a stunning, respectable performance of it! Bravo..............................

Have you done O fortuna the Excalibur song? If not you should it would be epic
Again here. THANK it for You and Mr. Rossini.
I just want you to know that I had a smile on my face for the entirety of that video. This was simply amazing.
All classic music should be converted to metal.
0:05 was that Doug Walker?
I don't know why, but this just makes me happy. I couldn't stop grinning.
One of your all-time best! LOVE IT!!
you should've featured Vadrum here :D
there used to be this guy named VADRUMS on here and you guy's would have made a good team because he used to do all kinds of drums covers like this and Mario Brothers
Yes i loved that guy !!!!!!!

Hi ho silver awayy

gioacchino rossini the best
I cannot stop watching this video. So, so impressive. I am going to start watching the rest of your library.
One of my favourite classics! Go, go, go for more!
Was that Jim Carrey at the beginning? Hiho silver?
yeah, from bruce almighty; in the scene where he parts the traffic.
he says that in one of the ace ventura pet detective films too, when he's making fun of some dude in the light of the projector
***** Nope, Dave Tony's right. It's from Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls. It's at the very end of this clip. watch?v=XemkxEUI--A
Retro Gamer 85 You sure it's not from Bruce Almighty, when he turned his p.o.s car into a Ferrari?
Rylan Malis I'm not 100 percent sure what film that audio is cut out of but i know the same line is recited in Ace Venture pet detective. Its in the scene where he's making shadows with a projector. Also it was Saleen not a ferrari.

Eargasm.
S T A R S P A N G L E D B A N N E R PL E A S E.
this just made me smile
This one is my absolute favorite. I listen to it all the time.
is it my eyesight or does he have 7 strings on his guitar?
+david craig 7 strings nothing wrong with your eye
+david craig Yes it does have 7. Because 6 strings can't handle his metal
+david craig Erock is too metal for a mere 6 stringed guitar. And thus, the gods saw fit to grant him a spare.
+david craig Yep, and my day we had 6, and 3 were just for show! Kids today!!
This is the soundtrack is KISS, The Lone Ranger and a lot of bikers decided to rob a train and escape the cops... By flying in the air with rocket boots and horses.
That it best soundtrack
331 you NEVER disappoint …. this was awesome.
$hit gets REAL at 1:38! You made sweep picking look easy!
This is how you know you've made great music, when it translates into any genre and can be played on a multitude of instruments and it still sounds fuckin awesome! Good job Rossini!
Excellent...Bravo!

Loved the Clayton Moore intro man, so epic!
SUPERB!!!!!!
You are really good. Thanx. I use to run home from third grade to catch the Lone Ranger saga on am radio in the early 50's. Then I realized years later it was the music I was running home to hear.
