Course Comments: Great course. Completed it earlier in 2022 and thoroughly enjoyed re-engaging with painting after many lost years. Watercolour is a new experience for me and I just love it. Stefan is an extremely versatile artist and he imparts his expertise with interesting, enjoyable and achievable tutorials. Currently I'm revisiting some of the tutorials as a refresher before jumping into the Contemporary Landscape course. Very exciting. Thank you Stefan. Pamela A
You are one best teachers of waatercolor, show the mistakes and do the proper way.
Thank you!
This is a most helpful video. Learning how to control water and the paint can be a challenge. The incorrect application on the left could have been done by me - too many times to count. I've learned alot from your very effective teaching. Thank you so much, Stefan! (subscribed ☺)
Glad it was helpful!
So informative…I see where I have been going wrong 🤪
Wow! thank you so much....I feel I really learned something about how to handle watercolor
Great! Thank you 😊
Very clear instructions, thank you
Super, so informative and well explained
I recently subscribed to Stefan's Channel and immediately purchased both of his tutorials. Best thing ever! Wonderful courses which I highly recommend.
Thank you so much Pat, wonderful to get this feedback
Very good. As a beginner, I continually make the mistakes you talk about here. Understanding how paint/water works on the paper made all the difference. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Best tutorial on the subject, thank you. I wish if you do another version with mixing colors
Great suggestion!
Great video

fantastic your classs
good technic and tutorial .Thks

Very well explained; thank you!🙏🎨
You’re welcome 😊
I also purchased one of Stefan’s courses. Great info on how to have more control & get a better painting. Really enjoyed this demo. Thanks Stefan!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I find you work just sooo helpful! I definately need more of your help!
Great tutorial Stefan, invaluable demo for those starting out with watercolour painting. You got some beautiful cauliflowers 😉which have given me an idea for the background of a flower paining I’m about to start! Best wishes 👏👏👍👏👏
Glad you find it invaluable and looking forward to see your background idea!
Thanks for the insights! What causes thin white lines to form across watercolor washes? (I'm guessing something to do with too much water lifting off the paint as the brush goes across esp. in graded or varigated wahes. Thanks.
Fantastic demo!
Many thanks!
Thank you! I was doing it wrong
friendly note... 'heading towards = to' ... 'excessively so = too'
Thank you Janis for explaining, English is still my second language and there is always room for improvement like there is with working with watercolour.
@Stefan Gevers your welcome.. english is terrible and my skills with other languages is horrific 😉 ..but I think you have the watercolor down pat!
Thanks Stefan, this was created for me
You may have inspired me to create this video 😊
It is a very common problem though and technically probably one of the most challenging and therefore I thought I should share it.
@@stefangeversartist I'm working on it. I'm learning so much from your course and would recommend it to anyone starting out with watercolour. 🥳
This is such great advice! Thanks for sharing.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you fir explaining everything in great detail. I’ve watched so many videos using big brushes and it makes sense to use the right size brush for the object you’re painting. I look forward to more videos! Your landscapes are awesome!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much!
You're welcome!
the type of paper must help to a better final result.
It certainly does Isabel. I usually recommend a cold press 300gsm for beginners, it easier to work with then a smooth hot press
Great tutorial Stefan, invaluable demo for those starting out with watercolour painting. You got some beautiful cauliflowers 😉which have given me an idea for the background of a flower paining I’m about to start! Best wishes 👏👏👍👏👏
Thank you Deirdre!
