- Dead and Company exploded out of the gate Saturday night May 25th at Sphere for what was an incredible show from start to finish. Everyone was on top of their game and the Sphere environment was unbelievable. John Mayer was good and warmed up after night one, and lit it up for an masterful performance all night long.
Lots more coming from the second weekend, stay tuned.
The band is innovating and pioneering the technology of the Sphere along with these timeless tunes.

Holy moly must have been wonderful. I also grew up in Ontario and first attended Canada's wonderland 1986. From then on, any opportunity. Now live in South Africa but my son there. The main beauty of growing up was the Grateful Dead
Nice! I never saw the Canadas Wonderland show but was lucky enough to see 4 Dead shows in Hamilton - but they hardly ever played in Canada! I had to go to Buffalo. Too many problems at the boarder I guess. ✌️

It amazes me how cool the sphere looks but the sound is so much better at Red Rocks and at Wrigley Field.
Red Rocks sounds like a good spot - what was weird during drums when the deep bass drum was playing the seats were vibrating like they had a subwoofer in every seat. They were doing some innovative stuff with sound.

Maybe it sounds awesome being in there. I wouldn't know. But every recording I hear from inside sounds so awful. It could be that the recording equipment gets distorted like heavy bass on a cell phone.
May I ask where were you sitting when recording this. I have tickets in 209 tomorrow night and I’m curious about the view. Thanks!
I keep seeing these headlines saying " John Mayer this and John Mayer that" for me it will always be Jerry Garcia in my headline.
Jerry dug deep in emotion and was amazing and innovative - nothing will compare. But Dead and Co at Sphere is pretty wild and fun. And John Mayer is exceptional.
