A daytrip to Colditz Castle. One of the most famous World War Two POW camps in Germany.

Today we are visiting one of the most famous World War Two sites in current day Germany (Germany was much bigger during and before World War Two) and at the time the castle was not so close to the German border as it is today.
It would have been a fairly difficult place to escape from and few did!
This is where officers and previous escapees who were recaptured were sent!
People often think that it would be wonderful to live in a castle but I wonder if the prisoners of war felt the same?!
