As bad as this may sound I would love for DVSN to stay underrated, once an artist goes mainstream it can sometimes hurt their career. Discovered these guys back in 2015 and they’ve had me in a chokehold every since. Very talented🔥

It's really dope to hear a songwriter get a chance to fully explain the meaning behind a song. Really don't get this level of insight often. Additionally, if you're trying to get into DVSN, to me, my favourite from them are Hallucinations and Body Smile!
These are my guys. I love DVSN. The song that is Toxic, is BLESSINGS from Amusing Her Feelings cd. I love that project. To me it's one you can put on and let the whole thing just play. These guys are bringing R&B Singing back frfr.

Charlamagne doesn't know the difference between toxic and a trigger. Toxic is something that is inherently negative in an all-around situation to a reasonable audience. A trigger is something that causes an individual to have a subconscious remembrance of an event that manifest through physical and emotional distress. This is why people who've seen a therapist a few times need to really stop trying to give armchair advice.
As per usual, Charlamagne is doing too much over analyzing and not listening to his guests. He made them on the defense almost the entire interview.
