Hello!
Today I am playing the Desolate Hope by Scott Cawthon (scottgames.com/). A beautiful combination of adventure, platforming and battling! Come for the incredible art, stay for the intriguing environment!
You play as a coffee maker tasked with removing a virus from the unmanned Lun Infinus space station. Together we must befriend the five err...four Derelicts and aid them in their vital simulations!

Wow, I knew Scott had some art design chops just from his work on FNAF but this really takes that cake.
Kind of reminds me of the 3D art for earthbound, or the psudeo-3D from early PC games
Image this in 3D mode instead of a side scroller
I love seeing how different elements of all of Scotts other games may have affected five nights.
The giant bear robot thing is also in other games from Scott. Such as, "Golden Galaxy" and Chipper and Sons"
6 years later "giant robot bear" has another meaning to Scott's games.
Glad this is being done blind, cos there are not many playthroughs of this out there!

It kinda looks like chippers and co. Another one of Scotts games u Can't realy find anymore but it's what that Dome place looks like
This is what started a series of games it all started here 9 years ago its almost time when the movie is made

Holy shit the music, the surrealness, this is very much my cup of tea
the graphics look like what old 3d games tried to look like but had to little pixels and this is it in full graphics. Never seen it before and will never see anything as fucked up but awesome.
magnusm4 yeah its called pre-rendered graphics, in games such as Donkey Kong Country, or Killer Instinct. Love the style.
Abraham De Paz it allows for some whacky and beautiful images especially the background, just look at that world next to the giant robot in the background!

he's also the fella thats inspiring me to make video games (although i haven't been bothered to attempt one due to school work n' lack of the necessary tools to do so).
he inspired me too,but some of that software is really expensive and it takes alot of time to start development on a game while doing school.

Glad to hear it! It's got some rough edges but it's well worth the playthrough!

Very good game, I wander what games, books and movies the author made after this based on the critics of his game Chipper and sons lumber co.
His mic went MNaF Phone Call and suddenly got alot less static when Coffee started talking about his CPU.

Stratilex actualy it was created about 2 years before FNaF but it was released on steam in 2014

Where do you install this? It seems really interesting, and the concept of this interesting to me. Also the art work is very nice, and I like seeing huge robots.

***** It's a good game! A little tricky before you figure out the mechanics though, but well worth the time :D
