Hi! Great video! I do believe that you may have misread what fhdc stands for, it's foundation half double crochet, not front. Front post half double crochet is a different thing. Your fidgets look great! Love the color choices xx
I agree. This is a foundation half double crochet. I use foundation stitches often when making blankets.
tysm for sharing what is IMO by far the best fidget pattern available! I've literally got a basket full of this style and countless others, all of which are too plain, no where near as sturdy and durable - which is a must for something that will regularly/constantly tugged at and messed with! plus a very well explained tutorial of a simple enough pattern to be doable at most levels of ability, yet interesting enough to hold the attention of this 25+ year Master Fiber Artist! I subbed maybe a week ago and am soooo glad I did! thanks again for sharing and I will DEFINITELY be checking out the rest of your channel today keep creating and crafting, you're a natural and such a calming and pleasant voice as a bonus have a wonderful week paige and all other viewers 💜💜💜

it is actually called a foundation half double crochet , not a front half double crochet. The person in the video used the wrong terminology.

If I may offer a suggestion... remove items from the background so that the camera focuses on the item you are crocheting. 😊
I have started on this pattern for the fidget chain, question, is it supposed to curl as you continue, I am not crocheting it tight or anything but as I put more beads on it tends to arch a bit. Many thanks, I am wanting to make it for a friend of my daughters who is having a hard time.
a little bit of arching is normal! I like to pull both ends of the toy at the end to really stretch it out (this should solve your issue) if it doesn’t then i recommend crocheting with loose tension ! i hope this helps
