Thank you, Ms. Maricar, for sharing this video, it helped me get ideas in ways to make money in sewing. But may I ask, could you tell more about sewing contractor and gown rental as a way to earn money in sewing? And any suggestions/recommendation of a way that is applicable in today's economic situation? Thank you once again and God bless you and your family. Looking forward to watching more videos in sewing and ways to earn income from you. Keep safe. :)
Hi Condrad. Thank you very much for watching. Regarding earning money by being a sewing contractor. You can advertise your sewing services on Facebook marketplace and other social media outlet. It's best if it is thru word of mouth, recommendation thru your friends. You may need to show your work, some samples where your potential client can see your skill level. About gown rental, you can create your own gowns or buy RTW. You can buy online or order thru a designer in case you know someone. If you are on a tight budget,(you can buy gowns let say start with 5 pcs, then 10 pcs until you have enough budget) from thrift stores/ukayukay, or mga second hand gowns like bridal or mga pageant gowns or bridesmaids depending on what is the need in your community. Once you have the gowns, you need a photo to show to your prospective clients. Promote it on FB and other social media platforms. All the best on your sewing venture!
