Interview with SIBIIR

Well, well, well - didn't we tell you we were having a Norway Double-bill this week? We did and here we are again. This time with SIBIIR, who are releasing their amazing new record "Undergang" tomorrow, and this time also with a review and an interview to give you the full package. Their last record "Ropes" was rewarded with a nomination for the most important Norwegian music award, the Spellemann, and in our opinion, "Undergang" might even win it, because the record is another step forward onto the paths of unpredictability and accessibility while still retaining a lot of that anger and urgency. The record is mighty political and tries to shove the bad sides of the world down the throats of those who are not doing anything looking away and thus helping the culprits get away with their deeds. But we also talk about the band's new way of writing their songs, about the Norwegian scene in general and the importance of Kvelertak in particular!
