Today I watched two adults play with action figures from a show from the 90's for 30 minutes. It was a good day.
And y they're both probably stoners.

The She-Demon is one of the children of Echnida and Typhon, Typhon in HTLJ was a friendly giant played by Glenn Shadix (he played the character in two episodes and he played his evil sibling in 'Beanstalks and Bad Eggs').
Such a shame we never got a Salmoneus and Siro crossover!😂

That minotaur figure was my favorite as a kid and today I found it's from one of my new fav shows
Xena actually looks really cute in Salmoneus' robe. Maybe it's just because it's more tasteful.
Many years ago, someone I worked with told me that his daughter was an extra in a wedding scene in one of the last episodes of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.
That centaur figure is actually very cool and the kicks are great.
I feel like we need more videos of phelan and Allison just...playing with toys and being stupid. It's a good time.

I wish I had bought these figures back in the day. Particularly Xena. Hopefuly someone decides to make new figures of them.
I watch it every day at 6 and I actually have that Ares figure from the Xena series, got it at the county fair yesterday.

Hercules was one of the best, most impactful, and most popular shows on television. It was just incredibly good. I love both Xena AND Herc, and can do little but roll my eyes at Herc-bashing.

I think the only episode I ever watched of
Hercules : Those Legendary Journeys
featured “Iolaus” in disguise as a woman.
So I find it very fitting that his actions figure comes with the accessory of an actual era-appropriate over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder.
Also, I’ve always hated the name “Iolaus”, so I want to thank Mr. Porteous & Lady Pregler for providing me with this stage and opportunity to give the world a taste of my hatred, much like anyone who would name a child, or TV character, something so hatefully stupidumb. Thanks, guys! Can we get a GOOBY review someday? I don’t hate the name of it, so it likely rocks especially hard,
Eh, all of these weird things they were doing with these these figures wasn't my thing. I personally loved figures that came with clothes, armor and masks. So in a way, Salmoneus probably would have been my favorite figure with the robes and stuff. They didn't even have to include that stupid torch, just the robes, crown and staff would have been enough. Although they could have also did his bracers like Herc and I would have been just as pleased.

We've already got The Discovery Channel and Discovery Kids as channels.
The sheer fact he refused to ever use weapons or kill anyone kinda 'killed' the show for me.
Now Xena did it right. She wasn't a wanton murderer... usually... but she didn't shy away from it when necessary.
I think beastmaster might have been a bit cheesy. Though they had more mature concepts like sex that I didn’t quite understand until I was much older
There was no Joxer toy? That's surprising to me since I have a Xena Autolycus toy and I always thought Joxer was a more important/regular character on that show. Though I have yet to watch much Xena (I keep meaning to) so don't know for sure.
I've always been a much bigger fan of the Batman 1966 tone of (most of) Hercules the Legendary Journeys.
I never watch it due to the biblical episodes.

Were Iolus and Gabrielle immortal? Because one season of Xena they meet Abraham, Ishmael, and Isaac, one season has Hercules meeting David and Goliath, and another season Hercules meets the Holy Family on their journey to Egypt.
More like the shows ended up bringing in stuff from other religions, like Christianity.

As I history and mythology fan, I was not a big fan of this show, because it basically felt like loosely using characters from Greek mythology in a world that was what I could best describe as a "generic Medieval fantasy setting". So it was essentially not correct anywhere.
