Excellent video. Thank you so much. I ordered yesterday a CX-30 186hp FWD manual ... because the manual is amazing, the special 2024 version called Nagisa. I am looking forward to get it in about 6 months and have a great experience driving this car. I have a question. The infotainment - navigation - maps - graphics in the new 2024 car version is any better than before ? because I have the impression that navigation graphics were outdated ... old fashion ... not modern like 3d etc as we find in most of the cars new models around the market.
So I would like to know what is going on with this matter, if possible, ... many thanks !
FYI ... CX-30 186hp manual with metallic color Nagisa version with great equipment list included is priced at 35000 euro in my country Greece. Mazda offers very competitive pricew considering the quality, reliability and equipment of its cars.
You did a great choice 👍👌The car is great. Infotainment system and navigation is great 10.3 inch display with good resolution and navigation look good to me. Pretty modern kind of similar with other. For me is perfect the way it is. Plus you can connect wireless apple carplay and android auto. I will show in the next video 👍
Great video! Thanks for such a detailed review. Did you experience the warning sounds once you go over the speed limit? I heard this is the new feature introduced on new Mazda vehicles as a part of the EU regulations. And if so, did you find the sounds annoying?

the silver in the middle on the console, is that protective wrapping or did they actually change the scratch black plastic?
It is a soft material but can’t remember exactly what is it. I will post the Review next days and there is explain everything 👍

I'm almost ready buying a Mazda CX 30. I'm still unsure between an Activ-G (122HP) and an Active-X (186HP) engine. I testdrove both and didn't notice too much of a difference in torque and accelerarion.
Above that I also testdrove an CX-30 with an automatic gearbox and must says this also drives very relaxed. Can you convince me buying either of these engines ?
I would advise you to get the highest power version with the 186hp vs the others, not only due to the special technology of the specific engine which I am sure gives better consumption metrics, but also from second hand value point of view. The less power version will attract less interest from potential buyers. Here in Greece all 122hp 150hp & 186hp versions are available and the price differences are small ... so it is one way choice to go for the highest power version. If I was leaving in the Central Europe I may had considered to go tor the AWD version ... but here in Athens we have almost always summer so I decided to save 3000 euro that is the price difference between FWD and AWD cars. I went for the manual shift too ... since it is unique and worhts to choose so the driver to enjoy it ... very few cars nowadays offer so great manuals ... the automatic gearboxes have dominated the market. We ll have the chance to have an automatic in a future car ... when manuals will be lost for ever !
Buy the cheaper one (122hp or 150hp) and ge tthe higher trim or an automatic if you liked it.

This or corolla cross 2.0 hybrid?
Corolla Cross is for families with kids they need more space inside the cabin and cargo ! Quality of the cabin is well inferior to Mazda CX-30 and driving dynamics cannot compare to Mazda. Also you get the best performance in consumption figures with Corolla. So... different priorities.
Corolla is bigger, more expensive and nowhere near as refined (bad sound insulation).
Love your reviews but, Mazda automatic.... c'mon Mazda manual gearbox is the one of tahe best in business. It has that MX5 DNA in itself. So, who's looking for a Mazda should stick to manual, period...
It's not. It's russian roulette. Only if you get a good one, the shifting is fantastic. If not, it blocks in 1st, grinds in 2nd or blocks in 5th or 6th gear.
Like on many other parts, Mazda has a tolerance issue on their pruduced parts. If you get a high tolerance parts, you are our of luck and having dependant on the part, different kind of problems.
I have test driven this car with 189hp and it felt like a lame duck. It's a nice car but has no meaningful acceleration. It's like driving a 1970 VW Beetle. Lane keep assist is for people who are too stupid to keep a car straight on the road and should not drive a car in the public domain. Very boring review of a pretty but boring car.
