- One of the most beloved violin concertos for young students performed here by legendary virtuoso Itzhak Perlman from his cd "Concertos from my Childhood".
Oscar Rieding - Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in B minor Op.35
I think this is almost every violinist' first concerto to play. Unfortunately I never succeeded it to play as beautiful as Itzhak does....
don't worry practise 40 hours a day as twoset violin says and you will get there LOL :o)
0:00 1st movement.

This was one of my teacher's favourite concertos, and he has been playing the violin professionally for over 40 years. It was one of the first concertos he learned, but he still loves to play this on his days off.
That’s cool and funny!I wish my violin teacher would do that. 😂😂(maybe he will)
I am practicing this piece and I really enjoy it I am 7 years old.
maybe you should not publicly tell people your age on the internet. there are dangerous people on here
@@mrmaleek3592 I agree

This is so beautiful. My daughter (age 9) is learning the violin and she played this in a Christmas concert this morning. It's a wonderful skill to be able to write easy music that's so beautiful and so interesting.
Is not easy i have 3 year in violin end 6 monht in dis concerto😒
I played the first movement of this piece when I was 9 and the 3rd one next year and I loved them. :))
Absolutely beautiful!!! I love his vibrato and his phrasing the most :D The best part about simpler pieces is that you can really absorb every note and give it meaning!
Me too.I love his pieces and would hope to become one of his students one day.
Yes, that would be a gift :)!
exactly!!!:)
I should listen to your advice. Thanks!
hi I am an iranian violonist. I love Mr Perlman.
in my Idea VIOLIN MEANS PERLMAN
Allahu Akbar
My mom drilled into me how wonderful he is when I was a kid and I gotta say for me also.. violin = perlman! I was so happy to get to see him play several times in the recent couple years.
We all learned this! It takes me right back. How the accompanist made a mistake in the performance and blamed me, how my friend did not show up, my dear teacher who taught me, and how nervous I was before the performance and asked them to give me brandy. I was 26 (mind you) And how it never sounded like Mr. Perlman's. :)
Огромное спасибо за эту публикацию! Невероятное исполнение и прекрасный ориентир для детей, которые сегодня приступили к изучению этого концерта Ридинга. Браво, Маэстро! Мира нам всем!
Can everyone please stop braging about how they played this as 8 year olds and how much praise they received from their violin teacher for their performance.
Thank you.
Why?
I am 9. I am playing it just now :). It is very beautiful
I am from Russia , Moscow.

AMAZING!!! I am such a fan of Perlman! Can't believe he actually played that when he was little!
I'm studying this concerto, but with the cello. It's too beautiful in both instruments. Love it! And this interpretation is fantastic! Thanks for sharing!
Narya Oswald that’s nice
Great; Here is a joke for you: How do one recognize a cello palyer ? He has a hole in his neck ! :o)
@@jytte47 Hahaha that's too accurate if talking about the chest 😂
I played it when I was 6 years old. It reminds me of my first violin teacher
I clicked on this because I remember playing this when I was a kid. My teacher even told me to get this CD so I could hear it whenever I wanted.
It's not about bragging, I just think this brings back good memories.
I'd like to play this on my antique Bohemian violin soon. That baby can project. Makes sense because it has a lions head instead of a scroll.😍 It ROARS
Im learning this concerto right now and I sound like a dying animal
Edit: Now I sound like a half dead animal

who's watching in 2019?
me, my first concert ♥
My son listens to it everyday before sleeping.
My grandson listens to Mr Perlman for inspiration before the violin competition
Fantastique! !Bravo!!
I'm touched! How could he perform this so perfectly!
He recorded it being an adult
What a joy it is to hear such a fine recording of this piece. I'm accompanying this for a student recital, and now I'm disappointed with the piano reduction- it's missing all the cool imitations between soloist and strings.
if i am happy and saaaad i just play this amazing concert and forgetttttt everythiiiiiiiiiiiiing Love it =)
I love this little concerto, is so adorable and fun to play :)
I am also learning this piece and really enjoyed this recording. I am 42

This one of the most famous O. Rieding works was written in Celje, Slovenia as well many more works by this great violin pedagogue and composer. Welcome to Celje, city of O. Rieding, where each year meets many young violinists at the O. Rieding International Competition for Young Musicians!
@t

Thank you for for uploading this!!!!

I love Perlman
I'm learning this on the viola and it beautifull
tem partitura em PDF para a viola?
imslp.org/wiki/Violin_Concerto_No.2,_Op.35_(Rieding,_Oskar)
Just click on "Arrangements and transcriptions" and you'll find several arrangements for viola and piano ;).
Armando Willia
His third movement is really good
If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have known how fast to play this piece, so well done!Yes, I plar the violin.
+Chunhua Zhu Perhaps you should have read about the tempo on the top of the page?
+Jeffrey Li Like anyone should trust the sheets' tempos... First of all its the editor (or advisor whatever) that chooses the tempo to print, and not that much music sheets have tempo written.
Я слушаю и восторгаюсь!
Привет
Я тоже
I played this piece when I was 9 years and I won on a competition with it
Wow that is so cool
Oh man, I used to play this as a kid :D
fenderguitargirl my son does this song
JUN QIN *piece
A song has words in it or is sang. A piece is a composition of instrumental or orchestral music (:
So same^-^
Se non esistesse il Paradiso, questa musica lo inventerebbe. Un Perlman già grande da bambino...che musicalità !
i study this. Is very very beauthiful
@Shaktidance8 If one played with this feeling - at any age - it would be something to brag about, and we must not forget that at the time of this recording fine microphones and recording equipment were difficult to obtain for an artist. So it reflects how the violinist played in general, not just for one recording.
hermoso esto le inspira ami hijo a practicar para llegar algún día como el gran maestro
Amazing
AWESOME🌷🌷
Oh I played this when I was 9 or 10. I love it!
Muito bom mesmo. Isso que é uma boa música que da prazer de ouvir.
it's good to see a proper professional take this piece seriously, I mean, it wasn't written for children. I think the simplicity is good and works really well when done professionally not just by kids like me
Брависсимо !!!!! Гениальный скрипач!!! От пианистки окончившей Ленинградскую консерваторию им н а римского Корсакова !!
SO beautiful:)
Super me encanta
Beautiful
I love it
He even played this piece in the first position! Amazing man!
How you know?
sterling wu i don´t know if it´s true because I didn´t check that, but still you can tell if it´s first position or not, because the sound or color of the notes is different in each position ;)
The Collier This piece is supposed to be played in first position.
i played this song in grade 2 it was quite hard then and i didnt fully understand the music, but now im a grade4, i just love playing it over and over again!! ^_^
